Soujuurou's battle against Beo lasted approximately three seconds. In that three seconds, he landed one blow precisely when the Golden Werewolf's heart was between beats to stagger him and then got around to its backside to blow it out with his elbow. This act drove a near-immortal creature of more than 2000 years into such fear that it reverts back to human form and remains out of the battle.
Touko's breakdown also shows it wasn't accidental. He had purposefully baited Beo into taking on its larger form and charging because he was used to dealing with animals larger than himself in the mountain, dedicating his entire being into taking on something normal humans couldn't with no expectation of surviving afterwards. His limbs barring one leg were completely ruined and his spine was effectively destroyed, with enough internal bleeding that it left him little more than a dead man standing at that point, but he had effectively taken out her trump card when a Meinster and a Mage couldn't.
Although Played for Laughs in the bonus story, May survives her first death from Soujuurou's "love confession" out of sheer stubbornness. It takes a triple heart attack from seeing Alice in her penguin costume to finally take her down.
In the true ending of the bonus story, Kojika rejects Sweets Hearts's The Final Temptation scenario by basically telling her to shove it and bring everyone back to life. Her reasoning for rejecting having any one of her wishes granted is both simple and Heartwarming: She had nothing to wish for because Tsukiji was already dead.
