While it might be lighter than some it's sister entries, Witch on the Holy Night still takes place in the Nasuverse. As such, expect there to be a fair degree of Nightmare Fuel present.

- Flat Snark. The most powerful of Alice's Ploys, it's a Reality Warper, Eldritch Abomination stated to be formed from the abdominal fat of a God by the First Witch. Specifically, it imposes a BoundedField over an area where it proceeds to convert objects from reality into living creatures from fairy tales and fantasy. When released in the derelict Kitsy Land, the result can be best described as Five Nights at Freddy's on steroids laced with cocaine. From armies of human-sized breadmen, rollercoasters turning into dragons, and mascots and attractions turning into giant monsters, with one notable example being a giant 60 foot lobster. Furthermore, the effects grow stronger the longer Flat Snark is out and about, with the bread-men going from mere fodder to being capable of tanking Aoko's strongest attacks. And it's capable of expanding space within the domain to a near-infinite degree, meaning trying to escape the traditional way is pretty much futile. And lastly, it can just decide to cut out the middle man and smash you to bits with a asteroid-sized hunk of ice it can summon out of nowhere. Perhaps, most frighteningly of all, unlike the other Ploys, it's fully capable of disobeying Alice if it wants, meaning even she can't save you if it decides it wants you dead.
- Just to give you an indication of how powerful Snark is, when Touko fights Alice, she flat out admits that had Alice deployed Flat Snark against her, she would have been in serious trouble. Keep in mind, by this point Touko has Lugh Beowulf at her side.
- Speaking of Beowulf, he manages to be a pretty hefty source of Nightmare Fuel as well.
