Heartwarming / Westeros: An American Musical

Go To

  • "Hand-Holding" is a sweet Friendship Song between Ned and Robert, which has the bonus of giving them a little sympathetic development and characterization before their respective deaths. The fact that it's set to the music of "Dear Theodosia" only adds to the sweetness.
  • Stannis gives Davos a chance a to read some of his correspondence despite Davos constantly having trouble with the pronunciation, even confirming when he gets words right and explicitly giving him a second try for one of the mistakes.
  • When Stannis decides against burning Edric at the end of "A H(e)art Inflamed" in a highly emotional moment, Shireen gives him a much-needed hug.
  • After much of "The Groom When It Happened" has made it clear that most of the cast is genuinely convinced that Tyrion killed Joffrey or would benefit from pretending to believe it, Sansa asks who the real assassin is.
  • "Sword in the Darkness" has several:
    • After having spent the better part of Act II having various heated disagreements, Davos and Melisandre share a one-armed embrace.
    • The members of the Night's Watch, meanwhile, are very happy to see someone willing to be The Cavalry for them.
    • Stannis comes towards Jon Snow, tells his father (canonically Eddard Stark) was a good man, and that he's happy to have saved his son.
