Awesome / Westeros: An American Musical

Go To

  • Tywin gets an entrance that was originally written for (Hamilton's) George Washington:
    Ensemble: Here comes the Lannister!
Lefford: The leader you've been waiting for!
  • The part of "Red Woman" introducing Melisandre, courtesy of the tune from "Guns and Ships".
  • Loras' Roaring Rampage of Revenge during "The Siege of King's Landing", adjusted to the music to which Hercules Mulligan is re-introduced in "Yorktown".
  • A fairly short time after the narrator herself calls the North "beh, you know?", "Robb Stark" proceeds to chronicle Robb's campaign to the tune of "Non-Stop".
  • Olenna and Margaery's scheming in "Growing Concerned":
This arrogant prick will be pricked by a rose.
Cuz everybody knows from the Wall to the sea of Dorne
Every motherfucking rose comes with a Queen of Thorns!
  • Olenna makes the finale of "The Groom When It Happened" one awesome moment, after the song's refrain has been used entirely to remind both the audience and Tyrion that he was the only one near Joffrey when he drank his poisoned wine:
Olenna: I might've been near the groom when it happened...
  • The titular "Sword in the Darkness", consisting of Stannis' Big Damn Heroes moment during the siege of Castle Black. The song is the play's counterpart to "The Election of 1800", and Stannis' entrance happens right around the time Hamilton shows up to break the tie between Jefferson and Burr in the original.
