• In the episode "Howl" while the family is in Ireland, Evie, Jonathan, and Alex find Rick turning into a werewolf. After Rick joins the other werewolves, the others encounter an old woman, Marie. Marie reveals that they have until midnight to turn Rick back into his old self, or he will remain a wolf forever. So, to save Rick, he must want to come back. Later in the village, Alex and the others can no longer tell Rick apart from the other werewolves. So, Alex runs out into the open and attacks one of the beasts. Just as the wolf is about to strike, the now werewolfed Rick defends Alex by attacking the others. Alex then figures out how to use the Manacle to help Rick return to normal just in time.
