- Even though Link has no obligation to help Hytopia, he does it anyway. Because Styla is unhappy and all the citizens in the kingdom need a hero to break the curse, he dons a disguise and joins the Tri Force Heroes because it's the right thing to do.
- Link acting like a Big Brother Mentor to the other Links, using the experience he obtained in his previous adventure to help them progress through the game.
- The concept of the Tri Force Heroes as a whole. Three Identical Strangers working together to protect Hytopia from evil. Unlike Four Swords needing a magical sword to split Link into four, here he's working with two other Links that he doesn't even know and working with them like a perfect team.
- It's very reassuring that for once Link is part of The Chosen Many by having friends by his side that equally share the burden with him rather than being The Chosen One with an Exposition Fairy that can only provide him limited help due to Gameplay and Story Segregation.
- Some of the artwork of the game showing the Links enjoying themselves either cross dressing or just hanging out together in Hytopia.
