Main Game

  • Any time Ange and Wataru are together, where the former always listens to the latter. We’re talking about a Fallen Princess who’s always rebellious and abrasive towards everyone, especially pricks like Jill and Embryo, now easily submissive to a young boy like Wataru. It helps that Wataru doesn’t have any of the major flaws any members from Arzenal has, even the gentle ones like Ersha and Vivian, and his good-hearted nature leaves Ange with nothing to criticize.
  • The moments right after his reintroduction Lelouch goes on to serve as a Cool Big Brother to Ange, as he helps her in carrying out a whole operation, to rescue her sister Sylvia. Despite the scenario, turning out to be a trap, the whole startup is a heartwarming and awesome moment for Lelouch, as it allows the former Holy Britiannian Emperor to show some serious Big Brother Instincts to a fellow Fallen Royal, Ange, by having him really stick his neck out for the former Misurugi Princess, while everyone else were either say "good luck" or try to stop her. The very proposition stuns Ange so much that she thanks him and everyone for their support. And this is not a typical sarcastic "thank you" she gives either, but a true expression of gratitude for everyone's help.
  • During the final raid on Misurugi, Lelouch manages to get through to Chris by pointing out to her that if Embryo actually did care about her, he would be helping her, which he clearly isn't. And unlike in her home series, the realization that Embryo abandoned her doesn't drive her into a mad frenzy thanks to Hilda and Rosalie's efforts.
  • The Secret Scenario "The Aura Called Love", which is dedicated to Show and Marvel's relationship and involves the two reaffirming their love for one another. Even Ange ends up in a good mood because of them!
  • In a strange way, both Bibide Baba Debu and Todd Guiness have a strange good mother and a delinquent son relationship that ends really well, going so far with Todd giving back the Senko Bracelet to her to make the fight fair and square.
  • One of the biggest in the IF endings: The Misurugi sisters reunite together, with Sylvia standing after learning about Embryo through Aura. She offers her older sister whatever punishment she wishes for the betrayal from earlier, but Ange declines. Instead, she states she found many in Misurugi who weren’t so bad and offers to help her younger sister rebuild the Empire, only asking for a residence in the new Misurugi nation in return so she can establish Cafe Ange. Finally after more than three years, the Misurugi sisters have gained a happy family reunion.
  • The Undying Loyalty that rest of the Code Geass cast show towards Lelouch is incredibly heartwarming, especially after all the crap he went through in the show.
  • After the 1st Para-mail Squadron joins the team, the girls are immediately bedazzled by Himiko's ninja skills (specifically the type that creates flowers). It's certainly a nice change of mood that immediately followed after the ice-cold reception they gave the rest of X-Force upon learning they were being reassigned.
    • In the same scene, Salia is particularly open and friendly towards Iori/Amari (in Amari's case, she's even rather patient and understanding due to her lack of knowledge of "flashy spells"). She even refuses to stop giving them the respect she believes a sorcerer/sorceress like them deserves, despite their protests that they're deserters.
  • It happens offscreen, but everyone gets to attend Simon and Nia's wedding.

DLC Scenarios

  • While the whole Pretty Salian's Adventure stage is once again an absolute wellspring of humour like in the game's predecessor, it actually has a surprising number of heartwarming moments:
    • When Lelouch recognises that Salia's whole "Magic Girl Salian" persona is just her own way to vent out her stress and cope with her struggles, he immediately gets into character with his whole Zero persona and goes in full-throttle. He even shows tremendous concern for her psychological health when threats to her roleplay show up. He even notes that he and Salia aren't that different (as he himself has also led a group of disorganized people while wearing a different persona).
    • Iori/Amari might have been roped into this against their will, but they had the incredible foresight to prepare a failsafe should their secret little LARP session be discovered, all for the sake of Salia's own mental health and reputation. They cast a dogma that transforms Salia's magical girl outfit back into her para-mail uniform, and they then claim to the rest of the 1st Para-Mail Squadron that the whole thing was their idea of a prank that just went too far. This is probably more prominent in Iori's case since it paints him as something of a creep to the girls, but Lelouch's and Show's silent approval of his bravery are as hilarious as they are sweet.
Shou: Iori... so you've chosen to sacrifice yourself...
Lelouch: You are truly a man among men...
