  • Near the end of the video, Dslyecxi and the other pilots have already made multiple dangerous trips to extract the ragged remains of their whittled down platoon. During his last such run, Dslyecxi leaves behind a fellow Shacker, Kustom, who passes out due to his injuries, forcing Dslyecxi to fly away rather than risk being shot down. When Beagle hears about this, and sees that Kustom is still alive and has come to, he gives a whole new meaning to Leave No Man Behind, as he ignores Dslyecxi's warnings about the dangers and goes all out to save Kustom. And he succeeds too! (One of the top youtube comments on the video: "That was beautiful what Beagle did. Someone. Hug me.")
    Dslyecxi: All right, Beagle, go ahead and break off.
    Beagle: Roger. Is anyone left down there?
    Dslyecxi: [somberly] No one we can help.
    Beagle: Oh my God Dslyecxi, they're still shooting, there's someone prone down there on the beach!
    Dslyecxi: I'm sorry about it Beagle, we couldn't do anything about it... he couldn't make it onto the helo. ... I'll tell you back at base, you gotta fly back to base with me, ok?
    Beagle: Fuck no I'm not!
    Dslyecxi: Beagle, you cannot do that. You cannot survive that!
    Beagle: Doesn't matter!
  • Also worth a mention is how Kustom reacts to the situation. After Dslyecxi and company have flown off, Kustom regains consciousness and realizes what happened. He doesn't beg for help or shout any recriminations, he just sends a solemn and sincere message to the rest of the group showing that he understands why they did what they did and that he wishes them well even though it means he's all but certainly been left behind to die: "Godspeed, gentlemen."
• The story of how Dslyecxi found, got treatment for, and then adopted a three legged kitten on the verge of death. Tears will be shed, especially when Dslyecxi describes begging the poor kitten to pull through... and then the scene shifts to said kitten happily running along and playing.
• Dslyecxi and CraneSong maintain a chipper but professional relationship while playing the game... except for this one brief moment that was only featured in Dslyecxi's 2017 Year In Review:
  Crane: I really hope that you don't die, or that I die with you... because I don't know how to shoot a MAT launcher.
  Dslyecxi: That was so romantic.
  Crane: And also because I love you.
  Dslyecxi: Awwwwww.
  [beat]
  Dslyecxi: I love you too.
• Solidarity:
  Dslyecxi: Alpha, how many of you are up?
  Alpha: Three in 1, at least. We are bleeding. We need help.
  Dslyecxi: I'm on my way. It's just me, though.
  • During the mission, Dslyecxi goes back to rescue a large portion of Alpha, then goes back to ensure Apache is OK. After all this, at the very end, he ends up being left behind on the beach, just a few feet away from the extract helicopter. He then gets shot in the head.
    Dslyecxi: *dying words, looking at the departing helicopter* Well... we got a lot of them out.
