    Season 1

1.4 In a Tree

  • Despite grieving his brother in his own way, Reacher is still kind enough to console Molly Beth by talking to her about Joe. We also learn from Molly Beth that Joe looked up to his younger brother.
  • Roscoe gives Reacher support by sharing her own story of losing her parents.

1.5 No Apologies

  • For the third time in the series, Reacher is nice to a dog that is being abused by its owner. Having had enough of the man mistreating the animal, Reacher punches him out, wraps him in the very chain he used to restrain the dog and then drops it off at an animal shelter.
  • The town barber Mosley reveals that Detective Gray, Roscoe's mentor, had been gathering evidence against Kliner and left that evidence with Mosley to be given to Roscoe when the time was right. Mosley also tells Roscoe that Gray was proud of her.

1.8 Pie

  • Paul feels guilty for having gotten Joe killed because he tried to get his help in shutting down Kliner's counterfeiting ring. Reacher tells Paul that his brother's death is KJ's and KJ alone.
  • Finlay reveals that he has adopted the dog whom he has named Jack after Reacher and is going back to Boston to face his past. He also makes sure that Reacher finally gets to eat that peach pie he wanted at the beginning of the show.

    Season 2

2.1 ATM

  • The 110th appear to have been extremely close knit. Franz spoke glowingly about Reacher to his family, and years later, uses "Reacher" as his password because of his Hero Worship to "the Big Guy". Every surviving member, when they hear about Franz's death, immediately drop everything they're doing to come to New York for the sole purpose of hunting down whoever did it and killing them. O'Donnell doesn't even ask if they're killing them, he asks who they're killing.

2.2 What Happens in Atlantic City

  • While in Atlantic City, they check with the head of security at one of the hotel casinos that their missing friends had worked with, to inquire on if the case that got them killed had anything to do with them. The man not only immediately agrees to meet with them due to their connection to his associates, but puts them up for a suite on the house while they investigate. A Genre Savvy viewer might expect his kindness to be a cover for his involvement in their deaths, especially as he's played by Lochlyn Munro, but turns out the case had nothing to do with him or even Atlantic City. He was just that fond of their friends and wanted to help.

2.4 A Night at the Symphony

  • Needing help during a brief trip to Boston, Reacher calls in a favour with Finlay. When asked if they can trust him, he assures O'Donnell that, if Finlay had been in the army, Reacher would have asked him to join the 110th. They later catch up, and its clear that they really are Fire-Forged Friends after Margrave.

2.5 Burial

  • Preparing for the worst, O'Donnell has his wife leave town with their kids to keep them out of New Age's potential firing line. Their interactions are genuinely sweet, showing off how much the former rake O'Donnell has utterly fallen in love with his wife, and though teasing him about it, Reacher is clearly happy for him.
  • Russo, who lost his father when he was young, giving Mikey Franz his St. Jerome prayer card.
He's the patron saint of kids whose moms and dads go to heaven. I want you to say the prayer on the back, every night. It'll help keep your dad close.

2.8 Fly Boy

  • After all the pain, death, and suffering caused by Little Wing and the entire conspiracy around it, Reacher takes the $65 million and distributes it amongst the family and relatives of the deceased, an animal charity in Swan's (and Maisi) name, and the rest to Dixon, O'Connell, and Neagley, giving it to them in a way that makes their lives much easier by giving Dixon an LLC in her own name so she can be her own boss, setting up a trust fund for O'Connell's kids so that their educations are paid for, and Neagley's father with around-the-clock medical care for the rest of his life. Reacher might have a hard time expressing himself emotionally, but he truly is A Father to His Men.
