"It's good to have you back, Cap."

  • In the trailer, Kamala talks about the saying 'never meet your heroes', she states that she did, and the Avengers were everything she thought they were. Despite their reputation being demolished and then being forced to legally disband, it’s nice to know that some still believe in them. She even states that some believe they were set up for what happened on A-Day.
  • After some jerks at the Expo claim that it's doubtful that any of the Avengers actually saw any of the entries from the fanfiction contest, Kamala runs into Captain America. It turns out that not only had he read every single entry personally, he remembered what story she had submitted just from hearing her name, and the fact that Thor loved it.
    • Black Widow also complimented her, mentioning that something which Kamala had her do in the story was "pretty badass" and giving her a fist bump.
    • Noticing that Kamala is a fan of Captain Marvel, Captain America tells her that he thinks Captain Marvel would like her.
  • Immediately after finding Captain America's shield in the Chimera, Kamala runs afoul of the Hulk. After a long, destructive chase, Kamala is curled up against a wall, begging for her life, at which point Hulk... takes the shield and leaves. Yes, even the Hulk feels the pain of Cap's loss, and is going out of his way to protect what's left of him. And in addition to that, for all his uncontrollable rage he's never going to hurt an innocent teenage girl.
  • Following the Hulk's fight with Abomination and the revelation regarding the D.A.R.K Terrigen project, Kamala has a brief Heroic BSoD. Bruce assures her that she's not a freak and that her actions at the AIM laboratory took guts.
  • Tarleton complains at one point that Thor's hammer resting on Cap's statue is the only thing preventing him AIM from tearing it down. While it's likely Thor just left it there to honor him, it's equally likely he did it to ensure that no one would be able to disrespect his fallen friend's memory.
  • A small moment: When Tony, Kamala and Hulk are dealing with an AIM assault on the Stark ancestral home, Tony almost panics when Kamala makes to fend off some of the aerial drones on her own.
  • At Bruce's request, Tony checks in on Kamala in the Chimera, and finds her trying on a self-made superhero outfit. Rather than making fun of her, Tony compliments her style and encourages her to have more confidence in herself. It's a rare sight to see Tony Stark getting along with anyone, let alone a teenage fangirl. He also reassures her when she says she looks ridiculous, because "looking ridiculous" is a part of the superhero gig. Especially when Hulk literally just wears stretchy pants for his costume.
  • After Kamala gets a little upset and frustrated at the fact that there don't seem to be any Inhumans fighting AIM, they are brought to the Ant Hill, where they find the Inhuman resistance hiding. Bruce just smiles a little and tells Kamala "Guess they were fighting after all" to which she just smiles with joy at finding others like her.
    • Hank Pym's introduction. He initially appears completely stone-faced when he sees Bruce, seemingly just as bitter towards him as Tony was previously... and then they both simply laugh and hug each other. Good to see Bruce's actions haven't alienated all of his old friends.
  • In spite of Natasha giving a mild remark about not liking kids, her primary motive during the raid on the AIM base is to save Kamala. She even gives the young hero a much-needed pep talk after Kamala's worried about how much she messed up, revealing herself as Tiny Dancer in the process.
  • The fact that, after five years and everything that's happened, Thor actually does remember Kamala from A-Day.
  • When the Avengers briefly fall apart after realizing Captain America's part in A-Day, Kamala gives them all a You Are Better Than You Think You Are speech over the radio to get them to come back, in a show of how much she has grown since the beginning of the game.
Kamala Khan: People... people believe in the Avengers. Not just because of your cool powers, but... but because no matter how bad things get, no matter how much you disagree, you always come together. Don't you get it? Your differences are your greatest superpower. I was just some weird kid from Jersey who didn't fit in. But you saw me for who I really was. You accepted me. There's still a bad guy out there who wants to hurt the world. But we can stop him. Good, isn't a thing you are... It's a thing you do.
    • And as the cherry on top, the Hulk is the first one to return in response to her speech. Not Banner, but the Hulk.
  • Tony finding and rescuing Cap from the gyrosphere. The man is on the verge of tears and lying through his teeth about not hugging him, but he is so grateful and relieved that he is alive and well.
Captain America: Tony? Are you hugging me?
Captain America: Then why aren't you letting go?
    • When they're trapped in an escape pod drifting in space with what looks like no hope of rescue, Tony turns to Cap and finally asks him why he destroyed the Terrigan reactor on the Chimera. In doing so, however, he makes it abundantly clear that there's no suspicion or bitterness attached and that he's confident that Cap had nothing but good reasons for doing so; he just needs to know what they were for the sake of closure.
  • In a post-game interaction of Black Widow in Kamala's room, she notices a Captain Marvel poster on her wall, noting that she thinks Carol would like her. While Kamala's worried she'll be mad she's taking her name, Black Widow says the contrary, believing she'd be proud Kamala's carrying her old title.
    • Most of the Avengers' interactions in each other's rooms are heartwarming. Special note goes to everyone visiting Kamala's room and encouraging her, Steve thanking Natasha for holding on to some of his stuff, and Tony coming really close to actually admitting he missed Cap.
  • At the end of the Heart of the Monster iconic mission, Bruce apologizes to Hulk for resenting him, even calling him a "gift."
Bruce Banner: You did good, Hulk. More than good. I think you and I - we aren't enemies. If there's anything to be learned from what Monica did to me... she never saw you as an enemy. You were a gift. I promise to see you that way too. Uh... yeah, I'm sorry. For... everything.
  • Kate's Undying Loyalty to Clint is really sweet to see. She refuses to abandon him, watches over him while he's in a coma, and jokes with him when he gets out of the portal. It is absolutely clear that she would do anything for him.
  • Pretty much everyone's reactions to Lucky the Pizza Dog.
  • The dialogue between The Avengers and Bucky its clear they are all trying to support him the best they can (especially Natasha and Steve) with his trauma of being mind-controlled. Even Tony who bluntly expresses that he doesn't trust Barnes because of his past says that his presence their makes his friends happy so it makes him happy as well.
