It's Okay to Cry, Lolo.

• Lolo's reaction to ringing the Spirit Bell for priestesses is very sweet to look at. Since ringing the spirit bell officially makes her a priestess.
• As Klonoa is getting closer to the Claire Moa temple in La-Lakoosha, he encounters a large statue of Goddess Claire. Before he continues his journey, Lolo stops him in order for her to pay respects to Goddess Claire by kneeling and having a silent prayer. When she's done praying, she allows Klonoa to continue heading to the Claire Moa temple.
• When Lolo temporary ends up depressed over her past actions after leaving the Maze of Memories in Mira-Mira. Popka decides to snap her out of her depressive state after refusing to help Klonoa during a boss battle. While he chews her out on planning to quickly give up on her dreams of being priestess alongside insulting Klonoa, Popka is mainly doing it out of love for Klonoa and especially Lolo. This is reflected with the song "Thank You, Popka" (another variation of Lolo's Theme) which represents Lolo and Popka's relationship and Popka's loyalty with her.
• After defeating The King of Sorrow, Klonoa shots a Wind Bullet up at the Bell of Sorrow, granting him the fifth Element: Sorrow. As The King of Sorrow is dying, Klonoa decides to comfort him by holding him in his arms promising him that Lunatea won't forget sorrow. Before The King of Sorrow vanishes, he is seen smiling at Klonoa.
• While the ending ends on a bittersweet note similar to Door to Phantomile where Klonoa has to leave Lunatea to help another world. Klonoa and Lolo actually gives a proper goodbye to each other complete with the two giving each other a hug for the first and very last time. What makes this more heartwarming is Klonoa immediately hugs Lolo the minute she runs into his arms, throwing his ring around his wrist to hug her, as well as the accompanying Orbital Shot.

  Lolo: (happily) It's okay! I knew this was coming. I'm fine, really. I'll be fine... (chuckles) because I'm going to do my best. And you taught me that it's okay to cry, as long as I don't give up. (sad) So... so... (crying) so... it's okay if I cry... right? (runs up to Klonoa and hugs him tightly and starts audibly crying)

  • As Lolo begins breaking down into Klonoa's arms, he tries cheering her a little by telling her to always remember him and never forget sadness.
    Klonoa: I may leave this world... But we'll always be... together. I believe that if you don't forget the sadness of this moment, we'll always be... together. Okay?
    Lolo: (continues crying)
    Klonoa: So... Lolo.
    Lolo: (wipes away her tears and smiles back at Klonoa)
    Klonoa: (sheds a Single Tear) Thanks...
  • The music when Lolo runs up to hug Klonoa is a slow Triumphant Reprise of Lolo's character theme followed by a different theme for Klonoa as he's giving her an uplifting speech of the above lines.
  • The remake adds a little bit more, as Klonoa is walking into the portal, he turns and sees a sleeping Popka who wakes up and watches Klonoa leave.
• The credits which shows the inhabitants of Lunatea having a peaceful life after Klonoa left. Such as showing Tat and Leorina rebuilding The Kingdom of Sorrow, the citizens of both Volk City and Mira-Mira rebuilding Volk, and the High Priestess holding a reborn King of Sorrow as a baby.
• To promote the release of Phantasy Reverie Series, Bandai Namco released a new illustration showing Klonoa relaxing while Lolo and Popka happily watch on.◊
