For such a wacky series, there's a lot of heart.

  • In "Ice Ice Daddy," when Captain Caveman finds out that Cavey Jr. is indeed his son, he immediately steps up to try and be a good dad. He also takes it in stride when he realizes that Junior is basically self-reliant and doesn't need him around all the time.
  • A brief one in "Boo Boots", when Boo Boo confesses to Yogi that he felt invisible like a clear glass window as he stated, Yogi tells him that he doesn't think he's invisible and that he's like a stained glass window with all the colors, this makes Boo Boo cry tears of joy, and the two make up and give each other a hug.
    • At the beginning, even though Yogi is just as guilty of ignoring Boo Boo as anyone else, he still calls him "bestest buddy" and tells Boo Boo that the breakfast he made is "delicious as always" (even though he ate Boo Boo's too).
  • At the end of "Catanooga Cheese Explosion," Yogi gives Shag Rugg a genuine apology for using him to get into the pizza place. Shag accepts his apology, and they both go for a ride in Shag's new pizza car, clearly having a good time despite the car's slow speed.
  • "Jelly Wrestle Rumble" shows Huckleberry Hound getting to meet his childhood hero, retired wrestler The Funky Phantom. When Huckleberry shows Funky his private museum of vintage wrestling memorabilia, Funky is genuinely impressed and flattered by Huckleberry's admiration of the craft.
  • In "DNA, A-OK!", Yogi tries to assimilate into the cat lifestyle after finding out from a shady DNA test that he's 98% cat. He joins Top Cat's crew, and while he is unsuccessful in pulling off scams, Top Cat admits that he's a "good man" and is proud to call him a fellow cat. Cue blushing from Yogi.
  • While Top Cat may jump at any chance to make money, it's clear that he and the other cats are True Companions and that he would do anything for them. In "Cats Do Dance," he adds the details the other cats ask for in his plan diagram (even giving Spooky a blaster despite claiming it's "not their style"), and in "A Fish Sticky Situation," he (very reluctantly) spends all the money they made to save his friends from the rampaging fish-headed citizens. There's also the scene where they find out that tomato bisque cures fish heads, and the gang does a Group Hug.
  • Cindy and Bleep's friendship in "Bleep" is pretty adorable. We also get a heartwarming moment at the end of the episode where Cindy is finally included in the gang's activities.
  • The end of "Yogi's Midlife Crisis", where Yogi and Squiddly make up, and perform a song about how they are better together.
  • "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Rat Race" shows us just how happy Lippy and Hardy's marriage is.
  • "Business": Any of the scenes with Huck and Jinks hugging and holding hands. Bonus points for the scene where Jinks tells Huck he loves him. Awww.
  • In "Boo-Boo and Benny: Little Buddy Trouble", Boo-Boo and Benny are truly happy when they are together. Any scene with them together will destroy your nutbladder. At the end of the episode, Yogi and TC realize that despite their envy, they should not get in the way of their little buddies' happiness.
    • While he eventually goes along TC's plan, Yogi is more reticent to throw a spanner in Boo-Boo's new friendship.
  • In "Sweet Dreams", Huck's bedtime story is a recap of Jellystone and its residents. In it, all of the citizens look legitimately happy and do not cause any disaster. It also really shows Huck's adoration for the town.
