Heartwarming / Frasier (2023)

• It's revealed Frasier and Charlotte did continue their relationship in Chicago, and while they've recently broken up when the show starts, their relationship managed to last 19 years. Making this even better is how despite passing up the job offer in favor of her, he managed to have an even more successful career in Chicago than what was offered to him in San Francisco. He unequivocally made the right choice.
• A brief moment, but when Eve starts to walk into the room, she is asking Freddy to turn down the volume on his dad's show before she realizes his dad is actually in the room. Even if they're estranged, Freddy is still watching his dad's show, and he told Eve the truth about his dad (something he hasn't told the other firefighters.)
• Freddy's description of Martin flying out to Boston to console him after a friend of his died in the line of duty as a firefighter. Also a bit of a Tearjerker.
• Freddy moving in with his late friend's fiancée and their baby to help them make ends meet.
• Alan gets Frasier to come to his own conclusion about why he and Freddy are estranged by writing something down and being silent. The audience and Frasier alike expect a sitcom punchline of Alan having written nothing; but it turns out he wrote exactly what Frasier needed to hear. Underneath his apathetic boozer persona, Alan is still emotionally intelligent and cares about his friends.
• Frasier, after finding out that Freddy is struggling financially and that his roommate Eve is a single mother, buys the apartment building they live in so that they could live there rent free.
• Olivia revealing herself to be a big fan of Frasier, citing his television show as her inspiration to get a PhD (while she did lie about the "thinking cap" she acquired being an original from the show, the rest was seemingly true).
• After David gets a "B" and worries himself sick that Niles will force him to leave Harvard, he and Freddy bond over the stress they share due to their fathers and how it can feel impossible to live up being a Crane. Freddy helps David realize it's OK not to be perfect while David provides Freddy with a safe space where he can flex his intellect.
• Roz surprises a depressed Frasier during Christmas with a visit at Freddy's behest. Why? Because Freddy knew that Frasier was depressed about spending his first holiday without Martin, so he contacted her so he could have one of his best friends with him. And Roz, for her part, didn't think twice and immediately caught a flight to Boston.
