Chapter 1 (Prologue) to Chapter 30 (Tower of Terror)

• Chapter 1:
  • The fact that Mew and the Kanto Bird Trio help give Ash tips before the start of his journey counts as both hearthwarming and awesome.
  • The Kanto Bird Trio, known for being at odds with one another most of the time, work together to stand up for Ash and face Arceus himself counts as both heartwarming and awesome.
  • The fact that Uxie immediately rejected Arceus's consideration of removing Ash's memories of the chat. Granted it was on moral grounds but it can still count as heartwarming.
  • Mew calling Arceus granddad is adorably heartwarming.
• Chapter 2:
  • While Mew may be mostly playful, it is sweet that even she won't swear in front of Ash.

• Chapter 3:
  • The chapter opens with the Mew wishing Ash a happy birthday.
  > MOTD: happy birthday ash! -DD
  • Ash not relying on the Legendaries for help by finding a pokémon center by himself to heal his injured Pikachu. That has just saved the both of them.
• Chapter 18:
  • Charmander being adopted by Ash.

Chapter 31 (Night Fright) to Chapter 58 (The Problem with Paras)

• Chapter 31:
  • While Darkrai may be a grump, the fact that he defended Ash from the swarm of ghost-types by saying that Ash is protected can count as heartwarming.

The Rainbow Hero Arc Chapter 59 (Our Five Dreams) to Chapter 64 (Friends to the End)

• Chapter 64:
  • Mew getting back her [MOD] privileges by Arceus for saving Ash can count as heartwarming and awesome.

Chapter 66 (Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon) to Chapter 98 - Minisode (Bored Games)

• Chapter 88:
  • Basically the whole chapter/episode (Bye Bye Butterfree), while a bit bittersweet, it's still heartwarming.
  • Entei giving Butterfree encouragement and heart-to-heart Entei has with Suicune immediately afterwards.
  • Butterfree finding love and dancing with the Pink Butterfree after saving her.
  • Lugia and Mew comforting Ash after he releases Butterfree.
  • Butterfree explaining to Pink Butterfree who Ash is.
  BUTTERFREE: his name is ash ketchum.
  BUTTERFREE: he’s from pallet town.
  BUTTERFREE: and he’s going to be the world’s greatest pokémon master! :D
• Chapter 90:
  • Chase's Charmeleon adopting Ash's Charizard as their big brother.

The Mewtwo Strikes Back Arc Chapter 99 - Movie 1, Act 1 (Mewtwo Strikes Back) to Chapter 105 - Movie 1, Act 7 (Mewtwo Strikes Back)

Chapter 107 - Minisode (A Chat About A Chat) to Chapter 136 - Episode 102, Part 1 (The Indigo Outcome)

• Chapter 107: When Marshadow mentions he made the concious decision to join the team, Squirtile responds with "Don't kid yourself. You've been on the team since the snowball fight." Following that is Eevee wholeheartedly agreeing.

Adrift With Legendaries Chapter 1 (Prologue) to Chapter 32 (Pikasode 3: Pikachu's Rescue Adventure)

• Chapter 2:
  • Bulbasaur gives Pidgeot a talk on responsibility and knowing when to step back when she has a crisis over the Spearow/Pidgey conflict.
• Chapter 7:
  • Ash rescues Lapras. The more heartwarming part is how the whole team comforts the lost youth and reassures him that they will help find his family.
• Chapter 9:
  • After Mew's panic during the movie, she is now comfortable enough to treat Mewtwo with tact and affection. She treats his actions as a youthful indescretion rather than the disaster it could have been now that the confusion has been cleared up.

Chapter 11:

• Pikachu spends the chapter checking up on Chandelure to makes sure she's okay after evolving. Charizard is not the only one who wants to keep history from repeating itself.

• Chapter 13:
  • Arceus is a caring parent, willing to shrug off a prank because it made his kid (Dialga) laugh and recover from a breakdown.
• Chapter 15
  • Pikachu has a nice chat with a Raichu and helps build up the bond between Raichu and Kay after a bad day for the two of them.
• Chapter 16
  • Misty and her team star in this episode as they confront and drive away the Golduck that tried to infiltrate their team. They prefer their silly Psyduck over the jerk.
• Chapter 18
  • Mew, despite being hit twice in previous chapters, deliberately plans to position herself so that she can catch Ash if he falls while climbing the mountain to the Gym.
  [MOD] DD: I get hit on my own terms, thank you!
  [MOD] DD: and besides I'd rather suffer a little [sic]indigity than let Ash fall down a mountain.
• Chapter 19
  • Tracey and Zygarde have a chat about having travelers like Tracey, who have little environmental impact beyond a few shavings of wood and chips of graphite from their pencils.
• Chapter 23
  • Rayquaza tells Ash to stick around on an island for no reason than to treat Ash and his friends to the sight of a meteor shower. The island had a good viewing angle.
  • Mew grabs Mewtwo and brings him to watch the meteor shower. A reader could easily interpret it as her getting into a big sister role for the young clone. She also makes sure he does not fall into overly serious or grim thoughts.
• Chapter 32: Pikasode 3: Pikachu's Rescue Adventure
  • Everyone chips in to defend the deep place from the storm. From holding onto nests, to fighting the storm and fire.

The Revelation:Lugia Arc Chapter 33 - Movie 2, Act 1 (Revelation:Lugia) to Chapter 39 - Movie 2, Act 7 (Revelation:Lugia)

• Chapter 38
  • Ash finally finds out that Lugia's his father. And how did he figure it out? By the fact Delia use to sing Lugia's song to him as a child.
  Ash: Thanks... dad.
  • Not only does Ash find out but who shows up but Delia, revealing that she always knew who Lugia was, a fact that not even Lugia was aware of. Not even a few moments back together and its incredibly obvious just how much they still love each other.
  Delia Every day I worry about you, both of you, and wonder if you’re all right.
  • Once Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres learn that Ash dropped his phone in the sea, they immediately offer to pool the funds from their shrines and get him a new one. The only thing that stops them is Lugia (who's currently translating for them to Ash) saying that no, he will get Ash his new phone.
• Chapter 39
  • Arceus comforting Giratina after learning that He was the one that made Ash's account and forgot, Arceus makes sure Giratina knows he's not upset with him.
  • Lugia and Delia get a soft moment together for the first time in 11 years.
  Lugia Ho-oh was wrong.
  Lugia He gets his golden heart from you, not me.
  DELIA Then you must give him his silver soul.
