Heartwarming / Bayley

Go To

  • Emma and Paige saving Bayley from a triple team by the Beautiful Fierce Females. Seeing the aforementioned Divas who had previously dismissed Bayley as annoying, save her from an attack and stand united - a very sweet moment. Especially to see the three top face Divas of NXT stand side by side.
  • The "Four Horsewomen" in the ring after Bayley won the title at "TakeOver: Brooklyn". Even Sasha Banks, her opponent in the match, joined in the celebration!
  • In her return to the Full Sail taping studio, she stopped as she walked to the ring and looked at a girl named Izzy. By this time, NXT and WWE fans were very familiar with the 11-year-old Bayley superfan (who dressed up as her role model, including ponytail and streamers on her wristbands). With the parents' permission, Bayley brought Izzy over the barricade and into the ring, where child and hero did Bayley's signature "crowd high five" together before sharing a hug.
  • Shared with Sasha in their Iron Man match for the NXT Women's championship, as it is the first women's Iron Man match in history, and the first women's match to main-event a pay-per-view. As this backstage clip shows, Bayley and Sasha are just so honored to be asked to main-event, and both women are tearing up in happiness as Hunter breaks the news.
  • Just before the Iron Man match, she tweeted an old essay she wrote for English class: My Success. Sasha contributed hers, too.
  • Performed Finn Bálor's entrance routine to him to cheer him up whilst he was unable to wrestle due to an ankle injury. He returned the favour when he returned to active competition.
  • Carmella, one of her closest friends, wins a #1 contender's match to face Bayley for the NXT Women's Championship. Things remain 100% friendly, both women acknowledging each other as Worthy Opponents. What results is a hard-fought match from Carmella, who proves to be a Graceful Loser, and shares an emotional hug with Bayley after the match.
  • Inviting Finn Balor, Nia Jax, Mojo Rawley, and Carmella to the ring for the "NXT Curtain Call", and putting Finn over as the guy who took NXT to the next level and leading a "Thank you Finn!" chant. She even gives Nia (one of her biggest opponents) props, and gives the biggest hug to Carmella.
  • Finally making an appearance on the main roster as Sasha's mystery partner at Battleground 2016 against Charlotte and Dana Brooke. She got one of the best reactions of the night, showing that the greater WWE audience knows her from her NXT time. Also heartwarming was the all-too-genuine smile on Sasha's face after Bayley's music hit, finally seeing her longtime compatriot make it to the big stage.
  • When her and Carmella came out and celebrated with the crowd after performing their last ever NXT show. This was more significant than most times NXT performers "graduate" to the main roster as they were both very close friends who travelled together and were being separated to separate brands as part of the brand extension (Bayley to Raw and Carmella to SmackDown).
  • Her and Raw GM Mick Foley shared a hug when she made her official main roster debut.
  • Pretty much the entire WWE Universe erupted in unadulterated joy when Bayley captured the RAW Women's Championship from Charlotte on the 2/13/17 episode of RAW. Sasha Banks (who had helped Bayley out by neutralizing an interfering Dana Brooke) went up to her in the ring and hugged her, and then Bayley wandered out into the crowd to celebrate personally with the fans, all the while with her new championship in hand.
  • The fall 2017 European tour segment where the crowd in Glasgow, Scotland blanketed an entire women's promo segment and match with chants of "HEEEEEEY, HEEEEEEY BAYLEY - OOH AAH! - I WANNA KNOOOOOOOOW IF YOU'LL BE MY GIRL!" Alexa Bliss couldn't keep from grinning, Sasha Banks joined in, and Bayley herself looked incredibly touched. Also a hilarious moment for driving Charlotte up the wall.
  • Her Adorkable buddy-buddy routine with Finn (almost bordering on Sickeningly Sweethearts) during the multi-week Mixed Match series in October 2018. One of the commentators called them the cutest pair in the whole competition.
  • The Boss 'N Hug Connection winning at Elimination Chamber (2019) to become the very first WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. Bayley in particular appeared to be on the verge of tears during the post-match promo while the team was showered with chants of "You deserve it!" from the crowd.
  • Not only did Bayley beat seven other women in a hellacious ladder match, becoming the Money in the Bank winner, she cashed in on a beaten-down Charlotte moments after the Queen took advantage of Lacey Evans' presence to beat Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women's Championship. This is the second title she's won from Charlotte, widely recognized as the golden girl of the company. She grabs the title and gets the full crowd celebration, showing how the fans have continued to root for her despite the mis-steps in booking.
    • With this win, Bayley becomes the first Women's Grand Slam Champion (NXT, Raw, Smackdown, and Women's Tag champion, Money in the Bank winner), beating out the rest of the Horsewomen and going a long way to demonstrate how far she's come.
  • Even calling the people who supported her for years Bitches on her first heel promo after over 7 years of being the ultimate squeaky-clean good girl couldn't sway fans away from her. In fact, it got her CHEERED! If that doesn't prove that Bayley's fan support will never fade away, nothing will. In fact during the week since the initial turn, fan support for her had exploded so fast that many were declaring 2019 her year despite everything Becky Lynch had done prior!
  • As funny as it is, Bayley being the first to find out that Renee Young and Jon Moxley were expecting their first child because Renee accidentally texted Bayley instead of her husband. They both had a good laugh about it.
  • It's sad to see that Bayley will miss ten months of wrestling due to an ACL injury, but the outpouring of love and support from her coworkers, other wrestlers in the industry, and fans has been wonderful. The first shows she's missed have been the first shows with fans back in attendance, and at nearly every show, there are several signs of support for her.
  • Though she failed to capture the Raw Women's Championship at Extreme Rules 2022, Bayley had a simple but moving tribute to the late Sara Lee, a strip of blue wrist tape with the latter's name on it to memorialize her fallen friend and coworker.
  • Although the trio are heels, the sheer amount of protective looks and reactions Damage CTRL give each other when one of them is in trouble, ESPECIALLY Dakota to Bayley cements them as both Fire-Forged Friends and True Companions at least for awhile. Especially exemplified in 2023 after Dakota goes down with a torn ACL much like Bayley had, Bayley is always dedicating matches (in character no less) to her injured pal, showing just how deep their bond runs. Out of character, despite Dakota being the older one, its clear she looks up to Bayley as the Cool Big Sis figure, and their bond as just Pam and Charlie is just precious.
  • Bayley's promo on the February 9th 2024 Smackdown. After being an annoying brat for 5 years, you'd be forgiven for it taking time for the fans to love her again, but nope! After being betrayed by her supposed friends in Damage CTRL the week before, Bayley's greeted with loud cheers and chants of her name, enough to bring the warm fuzzies out as the fans easily embrace her once more despite all her prior villainy.
  • WrestleMania XL: Bayley finally gets revenge on Damage CTRL, resurrecting the "Role Model" with a new heroic look and theme, making good on her mission to dethrone Iyo for the WWE Women's Championship in Bayley's long-overdue first singles match and victory at WrestleMania to a red hot crowd.
