• Chapter 36 was his last independent wrestling date, as he was departing to WWE. He received ovations with Tommaso Ciampa and Jack Gallagher after their matches, and ‘thank you’ and ‘you deserve it’ chants. At the end of the show, all three were left in the ring to silently say goodbye and drink in the crowd’s love, cheers and chants, before other wrestlers filled the ring to say goodbye to them and Jim Smallman told the departing trio that they’d always have a home in PROGRESS.
