  • Considering Steven Page's known mental illnesses, the Ed Robertson-penned song Crazy is a pretty heartwarming song about how everyone is somewhat unhinged mentally and it really doesn't matter.
    "I'm crazy just like you"
  • "Light Up My Room" is a song practically made of "aww". When foam on a creek and a tire field that's on fire not only don't damper your spirits, but actually keep them up, you know what you're listening to is the epitome of heartwarming.
  • You can't help but feel good listening to If I Had $1000000
  • While the music video is mostly funny and clashes with the lyrics, "Odds Are" is mostly a heartwarming song encouraging you not to miss opportunities in front of you, just because you're scared of things which likely won't happen. You literally have a better chance of falling in love by the time the song ends than you do dying in a multitude of horrible ways.
  • The entirety of "Did I Say That Out Loud?" definitely qualifies, particularly owing to the video.
  • "It's All Been Done", whose lyrics describe a cute little reincarnation love story.
  • "When You Dream" is about Page watching his newborn son sleep and wondering what he might be dreaming about. We're talking about a baby that's only a few days old. It's one of the sweetest songs they've ever recorded.
  • While "War on Drugs" is a sad song about suicide and living a miserable life, it bring a positive message towards the end about not wanting to commit suicide:
"From the very fear that makes you want to die
Is just the same as what keeps you alive
It's more trouble than some suicide is worth!"
  • The band was due to be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame (by good friend Geddy Lee no less) at the 2018 JUNO Awards. The heartwarming comes in however with Steven Page and Andy Creegan reuniting with the band on stage to perform "One Week" and "If I Had $1000000" for the first time in over a decade, even bringing out the other nominees to sing. While most likely the last time they'll ever play together, their excitement to be there was evident, looking like a day hadn't passed.
  • "Hanukkah Blessings" beautifully describes the warm and fuzzy feeling Jewish kids get while celebrating the festival of lights, remembering it's history and feeling special even when being inundated with Christmas stuff (and since Steve is Jewish, you know he means it). The verses which repurpose the actual Hanukkah prayers will surely touch the heart of anyone who grew up saying them during the holiday.
  • Though it ends on a bittersweet note, "Call and Answer" is an otherwise poignant song about wanting to rebuild a relationship with someone after a falling out and a hope that the other person is willing to put in the effort to make it work again.
  • "Falling For The First Time," especially the lyric "I'm so thrilled to finally be failing." The narrator has been a perfectionist for so long that he's relieved to learn that Perfection Is Impossible, and the simple act of failure has given him a new, profoundly positive outlook on life.
  • The triumphant final chorus of "Off The Hook," in which the subject catches their male partner being unfaithful again and finally decides enough is enough. The fact it's written in the second person makes is sound as though either their friend is giving them some helpful advice or the subject is saying it to themselves as a sort of motivational mantra (or possibly realizing it subconsciously in a prophetic anxiety dream).
"Something that you heard while you were sleeping left you
    Shaken while he stirred
    When you awaken you will
Make him eat his, make him eat his
Words while he's alone, 'cause you won't be around and
From now on the phone stays off the hook
    And line, every time
  • Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, the band have released semi-regular long-distance concerts entitled "Selfie Cam Jams," not only continuing to keep their fans entertained in lieu of a proper tour but encouraging viewers to donate to various COVID relief funds.
