"Brother" and "Sister" are supposed to be Brother's and Sister's real names, but Brother was referred to as "Small Bear" in The New Baby, in which Sister was born. Does this mean that subsequently, his name was legally changed?
In "The Berenstain Bears and the Bully", Sister and Tuffy get dragged into school and sat outside the principal's office (because Sister fought to protecta baby bird Tuffy was throwing rocks at) by a recess teacher. But it's said there were a few supervising and another one vouches for Sister to Principal Honeycomb, so why didn't the same recess teacher try to stop the other from roughly taking both girls inside without question?
My guess is that the school had one of those "zero tolerance" policies or the altercations betwixt the two (like the one we see the aftermath of) mostly happened outside of school/out of the view of teachers.
