• For the first half of the manga up to the notorious Bear Curry scene, does Otani have feelings for Risa that are repressed by his height and the fact that people always try to pair them together? Or does he just see her as a very close friend?
  • It’s hard to say since we mostly see things from Risa’s perspective. But I think it’s similiar to Risa at first. She liked him but thought she perfected taller guys and the joking about them ruined their moments. When asked why he rejected Risa he indirectly states that it’s because he just doesn’t like being the comedy duo with her.
