- Alternate Universe Fic: A What If? with the change that the Puppeteer was quicker to take control of Ladybug when she had her puppet.
- Near-Villain Victory: The Puppeteer had Marinette on her knees, handing over her earrings. Only the change in her appearance from detransformation, and the availability of a useful Lucky Charm saved the day.
- Reality-Changing Miniature: The Puppeteer's puppets only work if they resemble her victims. Consequently, taking Ladybug's Miraculous and forcing her to detransform made her no longer look enough like her puppet to remain under control.
- The Unmasking: Ladybug's secret identity is exposed to Hawk Moth, Alya, Nathaniel, Roger the police officer, Manon, and Chat Noir. She decides to retire as a superhero and enter her whole family in a witness protection program.
