Headscratchers / Let's Go Luna!

Go To

  • In "Not Home on the Range", why is Leo's uncle a platypus?
    • He's probably an adopted uncle.
    • Either that or an uncle by marriage.

  • Every episode ends at night time and Luna being the moon has to go back in the sky. Here's the thing though, during the day its nighttime on the other side of the world so how can Luna ever help the Andy, Carmen, and Leo explore?
    • Maybe during those points, there's a new moon in those places and it was mentioned in one episode (where the kids were in Munich) that she does have magic powers, so maybe she casts a projection.

  • How old are Leo, Andy, and Carmen? And if Luna is 4 billion years old, why does she sound like she is in her early 20s?
    • Maybe because she has something that when she ages up her voice doesn't change and i'd say the kids are like 7 to 9 years old.
    • Good guess, but maybe 7 to 8. They look too young to be 9.
    • Actually the kids are 7.
      • I figured Carmen was the older of the three. Anyway, well, while Luna's existed for as long as Earth had, she doesn't age and so her voice wouldn't either.

  • Who is Carmen's dad?
    • Not too sure if Carmen has a dad. Maybe her mom hasn't gotten married yet.
    • Or maybe she's divorced.
    • Or maybe her husband died somehow.
      • Considering how we don't see Carmen's grandpa or uncle (supposing her great-aunt was married), we could just guess that her family unit so happens to not include fathers or husbands. I mean, we see Salami Strong's mother, Mortadella, but we don't see his father, though, that one could be a Furry Reminder.
      • Jossed, we actually get to see Carmen's Uncle (Alberto) in "Siesta is Besta" and her Grandpa (Grumpa) in "Grumpa Comes to Call". So that drops out the Family Unit not having fathers and husbands.
    • Early-Installment Weirdness: In that episode, we only saw Carmen's Mama and Tia Ceci but not her granddad or uncle, so, at that time, her family unit didn't really have "fathers and husbands", until the later eps. Since we're on that subject, we don't even know what side of the family "Grumpa" and Uncle Alberto is even from.

  • We already know Carmen is from Mexico city and Leo is from Sydney so which city in the USA is Andy from?
    • Since Mexico City (Carmen's home) is the biggest city in Mexico and Sydney (Leo's home) is the biggest city in Australia, Andy must be from New York City because it's the biggest city in the USA. Find a pattern?
      • Andy is from Boston, Mass.

  • Why is Carmen the only one who can bring out the Magic Globe in every episode?
    • She is shown to be more responsible than the excitable Andy or the nervous Leo, so it makes sense Carmen would bring it.

  • How does the Circo Fabuloso get to one country to another country?
    • They probably go by boat. In "Luna's Christmas Around The World", the Circo is shown on a boat traveling to Antarctica.

  • Who is the youngest and oldest kid among the trio?
    • In my headcanon, Carmen is the oldest and Andy is the youngest, with Leo somewhere in the middle.
    • Actually the kids have the same age.

  • Why on Earth would Andy be afraid of asparagus?
    • Maybe he doesn't like the taste of it.

  • Why does every member of the Chocker family have an accent except for Leo?
    • He was probably raised in the United States.
      • Maybe Leo's a case of a Accents Aren't Hereditary (he does remember staying in Sydney, so he's lived there for awhile) and his sister, Matilda is an ambiguous case, as she doesn't talk (being a baby). On the other hand, Leo being Australian could have came late in the show's development.

  • In Luna's Christmas around the world why are Little Tinny's parents penguins?
    • He was probably adopted.
      • Leo's uncle is a platypus with no expo, so don't think about it too hard.

  • Is Leo a Dog or a Wombat?
    • He's a wombat.
    • He's some sort of hybrid. He has no tail, maybe it's hidden in his pants. He has dog ears, though.
      • No, he's a wombat. A few episodes call him "the little blue wombat".
    • To be fair, he's drawn looking real similar to the Lemmings, and the Lemmings don't look like what y'all would think lemmings would look like.

  • How is it possible that wherever the kids are Luna is there too?
    • Well, she is the moon and she does visit Earth from time to time, she just so happens to be there when the kids are there.

  • In Luna's Christmas around the world the whole Circo is outside in Antarctic with their swimsuits on and Antarctica is the coldest place on earth and everybody feels fine but shouldn't they be shivering by now?
    • Simple. Cartoon logic.
      • For an moment, they thought they were in Australia (where it is warm that time of year) but, when the shock wore off, they switched back to regular clothes.

  • In "Honey in Paris" after the kids run after Honey the Magic Globe is not seen going back into Carmen's pocket so what was she doing while the kids run after Honey?
    • She probably waited for the kids.

  • If Senor Fabuloso is a male flamingo why is he pink? I mean they could have changed his color.
    • Male flamingos can be pink too.
      • If memory serves, flamingos are pink because of what they eat. Male flamingos are just bigger than the female ones, not that they have a different color.

  • In Luna's Christmas around the world We see salami strong lift a house when he was young during a flashback but in House Music he struggles to lift an average dumbbell so how is that possible?
    • Rule of Funny?
      • If memory serves, he was feeling pretty down at that moment.

  • Why does Andy not wear shoes?
    • He does when goes out into the snow. As far as the rest of the show goes, a few other characters don't wear shoes either, so maybe his is just a character quirk.
      • His parents don't either; maybe it's just a frog thing?
    • Actually, Andy's daddy wears sandals, but his mama wears no shoes but, if the frogs from the Brazil ep says anything, it might be a frog thing.

  • In "More Than All That Jazz," why isn't Carmen's mother around to help the Circo band play jazz?
    • Maybe she was taking a break for the day.

  • In "Yankee Doodle Andy" Luna mentions the inequalities suffered by marginalized groups early in American History. This begs the question: If Luna knew this was happening, why didn't she intervene?
    • She's a moon. A magical talking moon, yes, but she's still a moon, so, perhaps, she can't do a whole lot (magic be damned) or, perhaps, she didn't always come down to Earth like she does in the present. On that subject, that's probably asking why she didn't do anything about any other issues on Earth.

  • In "Swamp Pals" Luna reveals to be pen pals with the planet, Saturn. If Saturn is sentient, does that mean the other planets are alive as well?
    • Prolly
