Why was the Redcap wearing an already-red hat?
The mythology, and even Harry's description of redcaps, says that their cap is red because they make it red by dipping it in their victims' blood. But if the baseball cap is for the Cincinnati Reds, then it would be made of cloth that's already red. Dipping it in blood either wouldn't show up at all, or would make it less bright red!
  • If he dips it in blood, it becomes a different shade of red, which counts as 'making it red'. The fact it's red to start with isn't apparently a hindrance.
