Our heroes, everyone.
As with every show prior, there is no shortage of laughing moments in Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga that will sure make you smile!
Episode 2
  • The fact that Carmeara frees the petrified Darrgon from his prison by smacking him with her light whip on his behind since he was laying upside down on the Moon.
Episode 4
  • When Ignis tries to look at the ancient Ultra artifact that Yuna discovered, she just calls security to get him out of the area. Cue Ignis deciding to make a showy exit by performing a great jump... Only a few inches above the guards' heads, after which he awkwardly runs away on the ground while the guards chase after him.
  • As Oka Gubila rampages, Ignis ends up caught in the beast's back and can't let go without being sent flying, Kengo tells him to hold on and stay positive with his usual catchphrase ("Smile, Smile"), Ignis just ends up confused about whatever the hell Kengo means with that.
  • Eventually Oka Gubila throws Ignis far off into the distance... Who ends up turning into a Twinkle in the Sky.
Episode 6
  • Ignis lets it slip to Kengo (while Yuna is nearby) that he figured out his identity as Trigger, Yuna barely misses hearing the full picture but the situation still forces Kengo to divert her attention from that by claiming that he was looking at a bird and then forcefully saying his catchphrase to make it seem like his usual business.
Episode 7
  • Because he jumped into the Hero's Gate without fully understanding how the GUTS Sparklence works, Haruki fails to transform into Ultraman Z, even accidentally shooting Z in the foot. It has to be seen to be believed.
  • The show-off competition between Ignis and Barossa somehow ends with the former being chased by the now giant pirate.
  • After Ignis returns the Ultra Medals to Haruki as a sign of gratitude for being saved from Barossa, Baby Zandrias Kedamya poops on him as spite for his master's defeat which prompts Ignis to furiously chase after the little scoundrel.
Episode 9
  • The fact that Akito thinks that a taser decorated with tacky pink diamonds would be the perfect birthday present for Yuna. Everyone immediately does a Face Fault upon seeing it.
Nanase: Talk about clueless. I'm actually impressed.
Episode 10
  • Everything about the scene where Darrgon attempts to woo Yuna.
    • First, he takes Ignis' advice and attempts a Wall Pin of Love, a hug and patting Yuna's head, but ends up scaring her instead due to his Super-Strength. For bonus points, Yuna uses the tacky-looking taser from last episode to zap him.
    • Akito and Kengo appear on the scene, which leads to this exchange:
Akito: What are you up to?
Darrgon: Can't you tell from my expression?
      Akito: Tell what?
Darrgon: Then how about now? [...] This is me smiling.
Akito: It's the same expression! There's no difference!
Kengo: Wait! I can kind of tell he's smiling!
    • After getting attacked by all parties involved for all his troubles, Darrgon throws a destructive tantrum, stomping the ground in frustration...and accidentally causes Zaragas to wake up. Oops.
Episode 13
  • The episode opens with Marluru narrating to the audience about the upcoming episode, at the end of his spiel Tesshin arrives and asks Marluru about who he's talking about.
  • How Marluru was recruited by Tatsumi: he found him by a riverbank and offered to share recordings of episodes of a TV show they mutually liked. Marluru considered Tatsumi's shared tastes as a sign of unbreakable trust. Plus some subversion of Bizarre Alien Biology:
    Tatsumi:...You have hands?
    Marluru: Duh! Obviously!
  • As the third act starts after a commercial break, Marluru once again speaks to the audience, this time to state that R'lyeh had no role in this episode despite it appearing along with him at the start.
  • The Reveal at the end that there was no disappearance to begin with, as Captain Tatsumi was at a meeting and even funnier? The "blood" that Marluru saw as "proof" of the disappearance was just ketchup that Tesshin was eating. Cue every other member of GUTS Select deciding to start giving Marluru some payback for all the grief he put them through.
Episode 15
  • Ignis befuddled watching Kengo & Yuna's training session with Ribut... or rather dance choreo thing.
  • At the end of the episode we find out that the Nurdessei's Battle Mode has completely wrecked every room besides the main one in the base and therefore Akito has to clean up the mess in his office. Luckily Kengo and Yuna are eager to help out... Until they hear an angry Captain Tatsumi who is calling to scold them for walking away from work leading to both scurrying to get there.
Episode 17
  • When Carmeara interferes in Trigger's and Trigger Dark's fight she nonchalantly smacks the latter aside and dismisses him as a "faker", which is funny when you remember how Trigger Dark as a separate entity existed to begin with.
  • In contrast to the high stakes of everything beforehand, after Ignis is arrested by GUTS Select and thrown into a cell, he just... takes it and calmly looks around after composing himself; as if he was venting like a teenager and has finally calmed down.
Episode 18
  • This episode is perhaps the funniest one the show has had yet, if only because of the sheer hilarity of everything relating to the fact that all the good things happening to everyone in the episode are nothing more than delusions created by an unknown psychic force.
    • First the episode opens with Captain Tatsumi receiving a notice that he's been promoted to Leader of GUTS Select Asia as a whole, with the entirety of his crew rushing to prepare a party for him all while Tatsumi shows more emotions besides his usual stoic demeanor.
    • Then we learn that Tesshin has been chosen as a photo pose model for TPU posters which he's so excited about that he starts to speak Gratuitous English.
    • That is followed by Nanase getting a big prize on the lottery and is so excited about it that she fully foregoes her serious personality completely.
    • And immediately after we see Marluru having bought a good apartment to live in, complete with a comfy bed.
  • The Dark Giants reach some really hilarious situations with their delusions as well:
    • Carmeara is seen with Trigger Dark back to his original self, then we see that she's just talking to herself about how she's feeling Trigger Dark from within Kengo and that he can be brought back in some way which leads to the next situation.
    • Hudram receives some really big words of praise from Darrgon who agrees with him that Carmeara is too far gone in her obsession and that he deserves to be the new leader of the Dark Giants with his "wisdom" and vision.
    • Darrgon receives a white rose of Yuna, who claims that they might not be able to be in love with one another for now, but they can work out a relationship later. He is later seen holding that rose... Underwater.
  • During Trigger's and Golba's fight, a lot of buildings are trashed, including those involving the good things happening to everyone. We get to see Marluru freak out as his apartment is crushed (and you even hear cat noises as the building gets stomped on), Tesshin screams in futility after the modeling building is knocked down (with photography sounds) as does Nanase when the lottery building is also destroyed (with the sound of coins hitting a floor). All while Tatsumi freaks out at his team's breakdown crying and screaming at the escalating bad situation.
Captain Tatsumi: "This isn't the GUTS Select that I've worked so hard to build up!"
  • The way everyone finds out the truth is also incredibly hilarious:
    • Ignis gets up after the Nursedessei is shaken by Golba's attack and looks at the "treasure map" he was holding, which turns out to be a worthless piece of paper.
    • Akito says that he's been chosen by the light at last and tries to transform into Trigger... Only to fail when he tries to do so and end up in an awkward situation as he tries to transform to no avail.
    • Nanase finds out her lottery ticket win was just a local raffle ticket.
    • Marluru discovers he didn't even get an apartment to begin with to his bewilderment.
    • Tesshin finds out that not only was he not chosen as the poster model... A model had already been found double tapping him ever getting the spot.
    • Tatsumi discovers that his promotion notice actually was... A medical report, which stated that he has a bad liver. He doesn't takes it well.
    • And finally, Kengo realizes that the others were not so thrilled about the party idea.
Episode 20
  • To get Barriguiler to work for him, Hudram promises him a supply of Comet Buns from the Planet Kisaragi. Cut to an Imagine Spot of Barriguiler snacking on a huge pile of Comet Buns, then cut back to him drooling in reality.
  • Barriguiler and Trigger Power Type engage in a sumo match that's equal parts awesome and hilarious, culminating in Trigger laughing at Barriguiler when he wins the match.
  • Yuna lets herself be imprisoned by Barriguiler so that she can talk to him in his own mind, to convince him that Hudram's lying. It's initially played seriously...then she ends by copying Barriguiler's Kansai dialect and laughing at him.
Episode 21
  • Aboras and Banila do a Double Take upon seeing each other again.
  • Aboras slaps Banila repeatedly, causing him to spin. This causes a dizzy Banila to spew fire in all directions, which sets Aboras' head on fire.
  • Trigger Dark grabbing Banila and forcing him to spew fire, which causes his eyes to bug out cartoonishly.
  • Trigger and Trigger Dark stand side by side, ready for battle. Then we get this exchange:
Ignis/Trigger Dark: There you are! Which do you prefer, red or blue?
    Kengo/Trigger: Huh? I prefer blue.
Ignis/Trigger Dark: What?! Me too! Oh well. You can have it!
Episode 22
  • Whilst looking for Yuna, Akito and Kengo discover a Big Red Button, and below the button is a poorly-written note by Ignis telling them to not press the button. Akito dismisses it as a psychological trap and tells Kengo not to fall for it, only for Kengo to immediately press the button out of reflex.
  • Mecha Musashin is pretty humorous for being a walking Japanese stereotype, being a giant clockwork samurai that speaks in a high-pitched, Kabuki Theatre-like voice and having strange skills like summoning multiple copies of its face in a ring of fire, or generating a Ukiyo-e painting of its own face to block the Maxima Nurse Cannon.
