Meanwhile, Bu-Ling interrupts a magic show during a cut-a-person-in-half trick by opening the box the assistants are using.
    • After the Mews find out they've been on national television and are swarmed by reporters, Bu-Ling immediately starts posing for the camera.
    • The In-Universe knock-off of YouTube is called NyaTube.
  • Ichigo's dream sequence in Episode 7 involves a Chimera of a penguin with a bizarre deep voice.
    • Furthermore, from the nature of her sleep talk, she's likely very glad the teacher interrupted her before she could get much further.
    • Later in the episode, Zakuro working at the cafe... And scaring the customers into submission by being just that intense.
  • At the beginning of episode 8, Retasu goes overboard in trying to "be useful" and attempts to serve customers while doing Bu-Ling's ball balancing trick.
    • She also accidentally scares off a couple of thugs, through she doesn't seem to happy about that one.
  • At the party on the cruise ship, Lettuce manages to accidentally pull a tablecloth without spilling the contents of the table. At the end of the episode, Ichigo tries the same thing - only to end up making a mess.
  • In Episode 9, the Mews need to get Ichigo out of the cafe. To do so, they send her on an errand to buy some milk... because Bu-Ling drank it all. Cue her lying on the ground with a Balloon Belly and dozens of milk bottles.
    • Her reasoning for doing so? She wanted to get taller.
  • The Mew's various approaches to getting Ichigo and Masaya to run into each other in Episode 9.
    • Mint pretending to be a construction worker, including somehow getting her hands on a jackhammer.

      • Retasu then yeets the wig back on.
    • Zakuro acting like an overly-stereotypical tourist with... surprisingly decent English.
  • Cat!Ichigo's various reactions to being pampered by Masaya.
Masaya: This spot [on the bed] is for our guest tonight.
Cat!Ichigo: OH! WELL! IF YOU INSIST!
  • On her way to get to Tokyo Tower, Ichigo almost steps on a pigeon nest. She's able to catch herself in time, but afterwards the pigeon just sits there entirely oblivious to the fact that it was almost crushed.
    • She also ends up taking a shortcut through an office building after accidentally going through an open window, much to the surprise of the workers there.
  • Ichigo is on such a cloud nine after her date with Masaya that she completely ignores Bu-Lings teasing and ends up causing the ball she is balancing on to spin faster.
  • When Ichigo's father finds out that his daughter has a boyfriend, he runs out to confront despite currently wearing nothing but a towel. When he and Ichigo share a daydream of Ichigo's wedding, he's still wearing said towel.

    • Lettuce and Zakuro act in a scene where they simply pet some bunny rabbits. Poor Lettuce somehow manages to creep out the rabbit, which starts pummeling her in the face.

Petit Mew Mew

  • In an aside from episode 2, Retasu suggests she, Ichigo, and Minto try talking like the animals they're fused with. Ichigo and Minto perform decently, but when it's Retasu's turn, she admits she doesn't know what sound a porpoise would make. Minto tells her "something like a dolphin". The resulting noise from Retasu is more of a high-pitched scream.
  • For Episode 6, Zakuro wonders about where the name "Tokyo Mew Mew" came from, with Mint admitting that Ichigo made it up on the fly. Mint then says if Zakuro wants a different name, they could be "The Great Lady Zakuro and her Loyal Servants". Zakuro's response is that "Tokyo Mew Mew" is just fine.
    • Bu-Ling's "simpler" suggestion is "Xiao Long Biao" (steamed Chinese pork buns).
  • For Episode 9, Kish once again intrudes on Ichigo and Masaya, much to Ichigo's annoyance. Masaya, however, invites Kish to come with them. He then ends up dragging a very confused Kish away while Ichigo looks on in exasperation.
    Ichigo: Aoyama-kun... You're too nice.
  • In a special for Zakuro's birthday, Mint gives her a cake that she had Keiichiro prepare ahead of time. The rest of the Mews bring the cake out... and it's so massive that they end up staggering under the weight, resulting in it getting all over the three of them.
  • For Episode 11, the aliens talk about what they'll do after the invasion is complete. Tart says that he'd go to the southern islands, with Kish wanting to take Ichigo (if she survives). Pie remains stoic saying that he'd get ready for the next mission... but the other two catch him smiling and promptly start picking on him.
