• The Running Gag where Aimee will randomly talk about doing a poo.
• Otis' first meeting with Maeve, accidentally bumping into her and knocking her books to the floor.
  Maeve: Are you a complete moron?
  Otis: No. [mumbling very hurriedly]
  Maeve: That was rhetorical.
• When Maeve approaches Otis near the end of episode 1, and he gets so flustered that he repeatedly forgets to unbuckle the bike helmet he's struggling to remove.
• Eric at the party trying to grab a drink off a passing tray. Except he's at a teen house party, so of course it wasn't a waiter, it was just someone else's shot he stole.
  Kid: That was my shot!
  Eric: Sorry- I've seen it in films-
  Kid: Dick! [storms off]
• Otis getting an erection after a slightly playful moment with Maeve at the swimming pool. All she did was touch his eyebrows. And it lasted thirty minutes in cold water.
• Jackson tries to get in on the “It’s my vagina!” shouting, but Mr. Groff is quick to point out, “You don’t even have a vagina!”
• Aimee's attempts to strike up a relationship with Top-Heavy Steve are pretty funny, since both of them are a bit ditzy.
  Aimee: This isn't a real study group. Everyone just shows up to smoke. Ruby likes inviting guys she thinks are hot.
  Steve: Oh... well. I really need to study. [Beat] [walks off]
  Aimee: [only just realizing that she now has a perfect excuse to interact with a hot guy] ... Wait!

• Hendricks' first successful attempt at dirty talk is just him saying the names of various kitchen utensils. With proper intonation and tone though.
• After someone writes "Miss Sands is a dirty-talking slut" on the girls' locker room wall, Sands gives everyone present detention and requires them to write an essay on what they have in common as women, allegedly to discourage slut-shaming. Actually it's a distraction so she can go have sex with Mr. Hendricks. With dirty-talking. Hendricks calls her out on how evil this is, which just gets her more excited.
• The entire conversation between Otis, Eric and Owen in the toilets.
  Eric: What an odd little man.
• Learning that his fingering technique isn't very good, Otis requests advice from Ruthie. She has him demonstrate on an orange, resulting in a scene that may evoke a gender-inverted Share the Male Pain.
• The entire bizarre, highly sexual space/under the sea production of Romeo and Juliet. Even better, the production has turned it into a musical, but rather than just adding music and reciting the poetic dialogue as song, they intercut the Shakespearean speech with original modern-day styled, music. Sexually explicit music.
  • Mr Hendricks is normally one of the cheeriest characters, but on the night he's inexplicably nasty to this one student named Quentin.
    "You're always there, Quentin! Just fuck off!"
    "You got a problem, Quentin?"
    "Shut the fuck up, Quentin, you piece of shit!"
• Hope is being interviewed about her efforts to restore some dignity to the school. Then the news crew gets footage of Dex running around campus completely naked with only a live goat to protect his modesty.
• Rahim asks Eric for his books and poems back and reveals to him to he burnt everything Eric ever gave him in a ‘small, controlled’ fire. Cue a weirded out facial expression from Adam, who is standing right next to Eric.
  • Rahim then tells Adam that he has doughnut jelly on his tie before walking off.
• The field trip to France is full of hijinks.
  • Jackson and Cal get high off magic mushrooms.
  • Kyle has an existential crisis when he hears about the trials that soldiers went through. Then he steals a helmet and brags about it in front of his teachers.
  • Hendricks' incandescent rage toward Quentin makes another appearance.
  • Mr Hendricks tries to lighten the mood by singing "Pump Up the Jam".
  • After Rahim nearly causes a fatal collision by chucking his poo from a bus window, the angry Frenchman who was unfortunate enough to have been driving the car starts accusing Rahim in his native tongue. Rahim takes advantage of the fact that nobody else speaks French and deliberately mistranslates his outrage. Only Adam knows that he's lying, because he knows Rahim went to the toilet.
  • Otis' freakout when he and Maeve are stranded and he starts yelling, "I am help!" in French.
• Aimee and Maureen find Goat eating Jean's vintage porn collection, and Maureen observes, "I think Goat might be a lesbian."
