The Science of Magic

Apparently, even after a few years on Earth, Sunset hasn't quite gotten all the Equestrian vernacular out of her system.
Sunset: Studying ancient books is fine for some people, but I like to solve magical mysteries by rolling up my sleeves and getting my hooves- er, hands dirty.
Sunset Shimmer's failures include Fluttershy's butterfly landing on Sunset Shimmer's nose, and being pelted by Rainbow Dash's... rainbow.
Sunset being crushed under a mound of apples, while Applejack casually walks off eating one.
As noted below, when you realize that after four failures, all of which were surprising and three of which were not too pleasant, she decided to observe from a separate room... which still doesn't protect her.
Much of the short, really, starting with the Rainbooms' surprise at Sunset's science equipment to her coughing a tiny rainbow after getting blinded by glowing butterflies, crushed by magic apples, yanked by a floating Rarity, blasted to the wall by magic balloons and getting stuck against the wall by static electricity, and finally, even in a separate room, getting hit by liquid rainbow.
When you consider Rarity's cutie mark, it makes you realize that Sunset got off pretty lightly. At least she didn't have to deal with a swarm of diamonds being launched at her!
When Sunset is coughing up smoke, she coughs up a tiny rainbow, too.

Pinkie Spy

Pinkie's "cat burglar" outfit is followed by a "dog burglar" outfit, which is the same thing with a mask of Canine Spike.
Pinkie out of nowhere sniffing Rainbow and telling her that she smells like vanilla.
Pinkie using a very big boom mike right in front and on top of a pair of students and bright pink camo.
Rainbow Dash: That's like the opposite of camouflage!
In the Polish dub, Rainbow snarks that the pink camo would only work in a panty drawer.
What finally gets them noticed is Rainbow screaming at Pinkie that they need to be quiet.
The Crystal Prep team's severe underreaction to the whole thing once Dash and Pinkie blow their cover.

All's Fair in Love & Friendship Games

Lyra somehow blocks out the sun (they're outside, apparently) just to have a spotlight.
Lyra starts her audition for the Friendship Games, only for a Record Needle Scratch to interrupt her as Sweetie Drops starts her act. Things only get weirder.
Highlights include Bon Bon's feats of strength and Lyra stuffing hot dogs into her mouth.
And, of course, their battle while dressed as an owl (Sweetie Drops) and a male peacock (Lyra Heartstrings) — with a Shout-Out to Kill la Kill of all things.
"UWAA!!! UWAA!!! UWAA!!!"
"HOO!!! HOO!!! HOO!!!"
They get so caught up in their competition that they don't even notice that the judging is over till Sandalwood says that the results are up.
Near the end, Micro Chips lampshades how weird things got, while pulling out his phone, apparently to record it.
At the end, after Lyra and Bon Bon both get spots, they make up like nothing has ever happened. While still in their bird costumes. They don't even apologize to each other, they're just instantly back together again.

Photo Finished

Photo Finish spends most of the short whirring around the school, taking pictures and getting on people's nerves.
Her assistants, on the other hand, look utterly bored throughout most of it.
At the end, Luna herself becomes Photo's latest victim. Her face when she realizes what's about to happen sells it.
The pictures Photo presents to Luna, what with the Bishie Sparkles, and everyone looking exaggeratedly prettier.
The ridiculous, rapid-fire poses Photo goes through as she snaps pictures. Sometimes not even looking! And:
Photo Finish: Yes! No! Yes! No! Yes! No!
Not to mention when she veers into Fauxlosophic Narration...
Photo Finish: Jump! Jump! Like a beautiful grasshopper! Like a graceful gazelle! You are striving to place the orb of desire in the net of the future!
“Enough! I go!”

A Banner Day

Flash Sentry showing a more sarcastic and vain side, mocking Sandalwood about his "spirit guide", wanting for the banner to feature the sheet music for his latest song (which the name hinting that it's a Silly Love Song), and freaking out when glitter is dropped on his hair.
Luna liking the banner the three made... only to say that she wants five more by the end of the day. Their resulting expressions really sell it.
