Friendship In Disguise
- The very first page has Quibble Pants complain about how nonsensical the in-universe crossover between Daring Do and the Power Ponies is, with the salespony telling him that it's just for fun. Fans have taken it to being the comic's way of basically telling the readers 'Don't think about this too hard, just enjoy the crossover'.
- Pretty much all of "They Eat Ponies, Don't They?". One of the focus characters is Pinkie Pie, what did you expect?
- Special mention goes to Shockwave and his evil plan to use the Ponies for energy. Not by siphonong their magic, but by directly converting them to fuel in some way that requires him to menace them with a whisk attachment replacing his gun arm.
- In "Pet Sounds", Fluttershy squees over Soundwave's Mini-Cassettes and even tries to help them heal their boo-boos. Frenzy is not amused. Those are battle scars!
- It's also humorous to find Discord being paranoid about Soundwave while Fluttershy is too distracted by the Mini-Cassettes.
- While awesome, it's also hilarious that Discord's plan to attack Soundwave for Frenzy hitting Fluttershy is transforming himself and Fluttershy's animal friends into mechanized versions of themselves.
- In "Strength In Numbers", Auntie Applesauce finds herself up against Bombshell, who fires his brainwashing cerebro-shells at her. She begins blindly swatting the shells away while telling the Insecticon to leave her alone. One of the shells ends up in Bombshell's own head, and he barely gets the chance to go "Oh, Crap!" before the shell forces him to listen to his attacker's demands.Auntie Applesauce: ...I can't believe that worked!
- There's also Applejack's futile attempts to get rid of the Insecticons on her own earlier on.
- At one point in "Finale", Soundwave prepares to eject one of his mini-cassette minions. Instead, Pinkie pops out and pies the Decepticon in the face.Pinkie: Ha! More like reject, am I right?
- Twilight responding to Megatron's attempts to fight by magically covering his fusion cannon's barrel with an orange safety cap. Which is no doubt a Mythology Gag to the fact that toys of Megatron in his gun mode -- even high-end collector-oriented figures -- have had to have these (or the tip painted orange) to comply with toy safety laws.
Magic Of Cybertron
- Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow Dash propose a pony-Autobot-Decepticon alliance to take down King Sombra. Starscream's reaction? "We're doomed."
- Seeing Megatron, of all bots, end up kowtowing to Sombra's control and forced to say "Hail Sombra!"
- Think Rarity taking down Starscream with nothing but a cape was crazy? Holiday and Lofty top that by helping Arcee and Greenlight defeat Killmaster with yarn!
- Scootaloo rocking an outfit similar to Daniel Witwicky's and pal-ing around with a few Autobots. Her aunts, who were looking for her, aren't even surprised.
- After defeating some controlled ponies and Cybertronians thanks to Dash's tactics. Starscream concedes that it was a good plan and goes on a rant that all will bow to him... only to have his wind taken out of his sails by everyone, even Thundercracker and Skywarp, praising Rainbow Dash.
- In "One Trick Pony", we see Applejack making her way across a landscape and coming across some tumbleweeds... made of wires.Applejack: (Thinking) This place is weird.
- In "Sick Beats", there's Ocellus' priceless reaction to Ravage:Ocellus: Kitty!
- Also, Soundwave's various Comically Serious moments.
- Ratchet and Rarity are trying to track some brainwashed Cybertronians to find a cure for Sombra's control. They spot one looting some luxury tires, who turns out to be an un-brainwashed Knockout simply taking advantage of the situation by stealing the overpriced items while everything's in chaos. And Rarity actually agrees that fashion items are too expensive!
- This exchange from when Wheeljack fits Pinkie into her exosuit:Pinkie: Will I be able to turn into a rubber chicken?!
Wheeljack: No.
Pinkie: A cream pie?!
Wheeljack: No.
Pinkie: A giant banana peel?!
Wheeljack: Do you know anything about machines?
Pinkie: No!- She ends up turning into a confetti-shooting gun. Wielded by MEGATRON!
