Series-wide

• Any time a character's power is reduced to a single specific utility. (Doubly so when it turns out to be useful):
  • Gold Experience, instead of transferring life energy, can only grow trees. And yet it still works out fine for Giorno. Even its requiem form amounts to trapping Diavolo in an endless sequence of forests.
  • Black Sabbath's weakness of being bound to shadows is changed to how it can't move more than three metres from a baguette.
  • Moody Blues' ability goes from being able to change into specific people and replay their actions to being able to morph into different remotes to view security camera footage. This works out especially well, considering that somehow a yacht and ancient ruins have security cameras.
  • In this continuity, Mista doesn't have a stand - he's just a really lucky shot who merely thinks he has a stand. Somehow he can still feed his bullets.
  • Joseph's only ability is Hamon Carbonation, which amounts to Stuff Blowing Up.
  • Star Platinum can only punch things.
  • Magician's Red can throw flame gifs and can heat up the surroundings with its "Red Microwave" ability. And it's represented with a man in a chicken costume. It can even lay eggs.
  • Hierophant Green can only throw singular emeralds.
  • Tower of Gray goes from being a monstrous flesh-ripping insect to an ordinary-looking fly whose only ability involves eventually driving people insane by buzzing really loudly. Gray Fly doesn't even care that it will take several days for this plan to actually work.
  • Silver Chariot has a sword that can pierce anything. Even things that aren't solid, as Avdol finds out. And his speed form is known as "Naked Mode".
  • Dark Blue Moon's barnacles are now caviar. It affects Jotaro about as much as you'd expect.
  • Strength isn't the ship, but rather a more generic object manipulation stand that happens to manifest through Forever using a toy ship. Even he says the former would be stupid.

Adventures in Italy

• Fugo gets Put on a Bus because of Bucciarati's dislike of cheese.
• A stand as nightmarish as King Crimson is swiftly flipped into Nightmare Retardant by being portrayed by a bored-looking man in a king costume.
• The originally-ominous plane graffiti that signals the arrival of Notorious B.I.G. is changed to sillier variants like, "Reputable H.U.G.E.", "Absolute U.N.I.T.", "Remarkable G.I.R.T.H.", "Nefarous (sic) T.H.I.C.C.", "Despicable F.A.T.", "Humongous C.H.U.N.G.U.S.", "Infamous L.A.R.G.E.", and "Prominent S.I.Z.E.".
  • And it turns out the graffiti isn't immune to the Dub Name Change, since "B.I.G." is scribbled out and replaced with "Chase".
• The way any of the text-to-speech voices interpret screaming, as if saying each letter "A" individually very fast. This ends up making moments such as the child who witnesses Doppio killing the fortune teller so much less terrifying than their original counterpart.
• The series reinterprets the originally-horrifying backstory of Cioccolata - for one thing, instead of whispering to elderly patients about how no-one will visit them, he says, "Mad cuz bald" to drive them to suicide.
• Secco is the only one not voiced by text-to-speech, instead voiced with random grunts, sneers and screams from Filthy Frank. At least until it turns out he's more sane than the source material wrote him.

Adventures in England

• The narrator's attempt to echo the title with the word "bizarre"...only to reveal the title which doesn't have the word in it.
• The famous scene where Dio attempts to steal a kiss from Erina to spite Jojo. Unlike in the original scene, Erina simply doesn't care.

Adventures (mostly) in Europe

• This exchange between Joseph and Esidisi:
  Esidisi: Smh. Did you think I would just start crying in front of someone who wants to end my life? I'm called the master of fire for a reason! I can heat up any of my bodily fluids up to 500 degrees!
  Joseph: Does that mean you can kill someone with your cu-
  Esidisi: No comment.
• Kars' vampiric minions are a crowd of people dressed as vampires that hop about as a singular entity.
• The UV lighting weapon used to fight the vampires is a really large desk lamp.
• When Old Joseph gets called out for his racism to the Japanese, he replies he can't be racist, because his hatred of the Japanese has nothing to do with their race.

Adventures to Egypt

• "Since when do treasure chests look like coffins?"
• Avdol accidentally brings up Iggy early upon the discovery of Erina's stand.
• The Lampshade Hanging of the more mundane background during the fight between Avdol and Polnareff.
  Polnareff: Well then, I know just the spot for this.
  scene transition to ordinary-looking park
  Avdol: So why did you choose this park as out fight location?
  Polnareff: Well uh. I wanted to go to the tiger balm gardens. Thought it would be epic scenery for the fight and stuff. But it was full so I had to settle with a generic park.
• Joseph luckily knows how to pilot ships. Unluckily, Captain Tenille's ship is rigged to explode. Even more unluckily, so is Forever's freight ship.
• Oingo disguises himself as Jotaro and to his dismay, Polnareff and Joseph want him to do that trick he does...eating a chicken nugget and making it come out his nose.
  Oingo: The hell!? Jotaro does shit like this?

Other

• FilthyRamenKing decides to do a paid review of a Japanese candy box...as Koichi.
  • "You might be wondering, 'Koichi, are you Japanese? Why are you surprised by this stuff?' And to that I say...so next up we have..."
