  • Aaron tells Alexander to become a lawyer, since "he certainly likes talking enough." Alexander takes his advice and becomes a lawyer, annoying the jury by speaking for hours on end in court.
  • Third-lifetime Aaron's been derisively nicknamed "Little Burr" by the Princeton students. He visits James Madison:
“Who—Little Burr?” comes a weak, confused voice from a literal mountain of blankets.
“How utterly on the mark of you, astute observation,” Aaron says. “I do not know what I would do without your incredible ability to pick up exactly my measure of elevation from the ground, you have changed my life.”
  • James Madison figures out Aaron is the Seer while they’re both Princeton students. He concludes his explanation of how he knows this with...
Madison: What I was trying to say is, you have the power to see the future and you’ve been using it to skip class all this time?
  • After third-lifetime Aaron's first treason trial where the charges against him were dropped, Jefferson declares war on pirates so he can try Aaron for treason again, prompting this exchange between him and the district marshall who guarded him in the first trial:
Aaron Burr is eight days into his journey back to New York City when Major Scott catches up with him, looking extremely guilt-stricken.
    “What is it?” Aaron asks.
“I…was wondering if you would accompany me back to Richmond?” Scott asks. “You…you’re under arrest for treason again. Unless you’d like to go to the federal government and confess to being a Seer? In which case you’re under arrest for perjury?”
“I’m under arrest for treason,” Aaron says flatly.
  • Aaron teases Alexander after he changes his mind about Aaron needing to hang for treason:
“I don’t—I don’t hate you,” Alexander says. “I can’t—I wish—every time I think that I can, that I do, you just—pull the rug out from under me.”
“That must be very inconvenient,” Aaron says dryly.
“Now you’re making fun of me.”
    “Is it helping?”
    “No!”
“Not my problem,” Aaron says. “Good day, Hamilton.”
  • Aaron wants the original copy of the incriminating letter he supposedly wrote presented in court.
“I hereby motion to issue a subpoena duces tecum to President Jefferson, and if the documents cannot be produced, that they be struck from this court’s record.”
    The room goes silent.
    “Excuse me?” Hamilton says.
“I hereby motion to issue a subpoena duces tecum—“ Aaron says.
“You want to subpoena the President?” Hamilton says.
“I do believe that is what I just stated, yes,” Aaron says. “Your Honor—“
Marshall groans, and drops his face into his hands. “Alright. We will subpoena the President.”
    • There's an outtake of this scene in the author's notes, of what they thought of writing the subpoena scene:
Aaron: “I hereby motion to issue a subpoena duces tecum to President Jefferson, and if the documents cannot be produced, that they be struck from this court’s record”
Justice Marshall: “Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Alright. Fine. Roll to subpoena the President. You do realize that he is the President of the United States, this is going to up the DC modifier by at least 2--"
      Aaron: “Nat 20!
Marshall: “Well. Okay then, you do it, you somehow manage to subpoena the President, he'll show up tomorrow in court, now you have to deal with him too, is this what you wanted—“
  • In itself, Aaron poisoning himself with strychnine while Alexander screams his name over and over isn’t funny, though he escapes actually experiencing the poisoning through falling into a memory where he hugs his family. However, this comment presents a funnier alternative. "Consider the possibility that when Aaron gets lost in a memory like this, he acts out the motions" (certainly plausible based on the last time he fell into a memory). "That would mean he probably went down in history as having spent his last minutes alive walking around and hugging probably Alexander Hamilton, judging by the yelling."
