Glynda stopped and turned back around. Another twitch of her crop brought Yang face-to-face with her, and she leaned in until there was a scant inch between their noses. “Ms. Xiao Long. Watch yourself before I pun-t you all the way back to Beacon.”Yang’s eyes widened even further. Her voice was a hushed whisper. “...you’re a master!”
- Lindy knows just how youthful she looks: as part of her cover story for enrollment at Beacon, she passes herself off as her son's older sister.

Independently, several chapters later, Torchwick and Neo agree that they're not going to try that, because you'd have to be a complete idiot not to realize that the maintenance tunnels would be watched.
- After the rest of the core cast of RWBY has been read in on the whole situation with the Nanoha cast, Sun decides it's time to Change the Uncomfortable Subject because the mood is too depressing. So he chooses to take a jab at his teammate Neptune."I think I speak for all of us when I say that this is a lot to take in. We just found out all sorts of stuff that's real hard to get our heads wrapped around. I mean, it's not just that aliens are real. It's not even just that magic is real.” Neptune and all of CFVY turned to look at him. Perfect. “No, today is the day we all found out, beyond the faintest shadow of doubt-" and Sun looked Chrono dead in the eye, putting all his effort into maintaining an air of heavy gravitas and absolute sincerity.
