• Bouc flying a kite on the pyramids. Enough said.
  • Before he recognizes Bouc, Poirot chides him for defiling one of the wonders of the world...... and "ruining a perfectly sublime Jaffa Cake".
• Poirot meeting Bouc's mother.
  Euphemia: You're possibly the most ludicrous man I've ever seen.
  Poirot: Not the first time I have been told this.
• The night of Linnet's murder: Poirot, drunk and drugged, passed out in his cabin, his moustache cover falling onto his eyes.
• Poirot is discussing the murder in the ship's cold store, where Linnet's body has been placed for preservation. He interrupts himself to turn one foot on Linnet's corpse, so that they are both pointing straight up.
• When Mrs. Van Schuyler barges into Poirot's interview with Bowers and he turns his attention to her.
  Van Schuyler: You now accuse me of murder?
  Bouc: He accuses everyone of murder.
  Poirot: It is a problem, I admit.
• "I am Hercule Poirot. I do not need to be told. I have eyes and they see, a brain and it thinks. It now thinks somewhat poorly of you."
