• "Day Sixteen: Loser" on The Human Equation. Most songs on the album are rather deep in Tear Jerker territory, but this one provides a lot of comic relief.
  • "Day Ten: Memories" has verses to make you chuckle, if you imagine them.
• During the song "Amazing Flight", the Barbarian delivers speech after speech about victories in battle, sacking cities, and so forth for some minutes, only for the Hippie to basically tell him to chill out and stop killing his buzz in the chorus.
• Bob Catley recording his lines for "Unnatural Selection" went something like this:
  [singing] We gave them dreams and what did they dreeeeeeeeam?! [no longer singing] I'M A FISH! FUCK IT!
• During Micheal Mills' announcement video for Transitus, he asked who else could claim to have sung on three Ayreon studio albums in a row... only to realize that Tommy Karevik has also done so ^note both of them are actually behind Edward Reekers, who sang on Ayreon's first four releases.
