• When Lizzie Mae is asked if she is glad white people made black people Christians through slavery so she and other black people can go to heaven.
  Lizzie Mae: Wait a minute. Heaven means an eternity full of white folks. I never thought of it that way. I may have to reconsider my options. (To presumably offscreen slaves inside Mount Vernon) Anybody know a Muhammad I could talk to?
• When Lizzie Mae is asked what Washington thinks of Lincoln freeing all the slaves.
  Lizzie Mae: Well, I don’t know an Abraham Lincoln, but he better not free another man’s slave unless he’s trying to get shot in the head.
• When Lizzie Mae learns that white people renamed Red Jacket, she makes a big passionate speech about how Red Jacket can’t let them do that and then asks for his real name which is Sagoyewatha (pronounced Sa-go-ye-wa-tha). Unfortunately Lizzie Mae can’t pronounce it and immediately goes back to calling him Red Jacket.
