You can say that they have fun time horsin' around.

  • While the game proper has quite a few examples, much of the series humor comes from individual games with bizarre circumstances:
    • One of them includes a game where an Impostor named themself "me", causing a foolish Crewmate who caught them in the act to say "it was me, vote me out". Which the Crew did.
    • Given the gameplay, there are times when both Impostors and Crewmates, even skilled ones, had lost because they have bad luck.
  • In a Black Comedy sense, the Polus Outpost trailer may count, as it's trying way too hard to seem innocent, even though there's obviously something off going on.
  • There's a level of Grotesque Cute humor to be had over the game's basic premise: a bunch of adorable, colorful bean-like people violently murdering each other.
  • A fan realizes that the Among Us Twitter's display pic (a close-up of the Red Crewmate) reminded them of a shot of a naked Mister Krabs. The account's response: "Perfect", creating an Among Us version of that scene. It would then become the Twitter's display pic. Even better, the official Spongebob account got in on it, too, replying with "good grief".
  • The announcement for the PS4 and PS5 version coming in 2021 have a regular game going on... until they come up to Blue who looks like a certain lombax with a Clank pet, who watches as he's vented, and it's not even told if he was the Impostor.
  • As an annual April Fool's Day event from 2022 onwards, the game changing the standard beans into four-legged "horse" versions of themselves as pictured above. It's pretty hilarious to watch yourself and all your fellow cremates galloping across the map, and everyone's horses automatically paw the ground and kick up a bit of dust with their hind legs every few seconds after standing in one place.
    • Especially funny is the "kill" animation, which involves the Impostor neighing and charging at the Crewmate... which then anticlimactically flips over. Even the floating beans on the start screen are replaced with horses!
    • To accompany this, the Hide and Seek mode has been replaced with Horse Wrangling mode where the Seeker is replaced with a rancher in attempt to catch all those horses. And like the main mode, the "kill" animation is replaced with the rancher tying them up with style, keeping the horse in place.
