• Jesse's family's reactions to hearing Jesse waking up from a nightmare.
  Angela: Mommy? Why can't Jesse wake up like everybody else?
  • And what helps sell it is that the dad's face in particular just screams "Oh great. This again."
• "Help yourself, fucker!"
• Grady can't go to the party. Why?
  Grady: I pushed my grandma down a flight of stairs.
  • "Shut UP, Grady!"
• This exchange:
  Jesse: Something is trying to get inside my body!
  Grady: Yeah, and she's female, and she's waiting for you in the cabana. And YOU wanna sleep with me.
• Jesse dancing by himself in his room. It quickly becomes very homoerotic. And then his mother and (supposed) love interest walk in on him.
• Jesse’s high pitched screams are a prime source of unintentional hilarity. Of note is the scene where Freddy makes him kill his gym teacher. Afterward he stares at the glove for a few seconds, and promptly kills the dramatic scene with his hilarious scream.
• In a dark way, Freddy flashing Grady the Slasher Smile equivalent of a beaming grin and nodding his head as he approaches Grady, as if to non-verbally say "Yeah, you are in fact going to die today!"
