     They're Calling Me What!?
  • Sona ranting to Shirou about how the Gremorys are all nudists, culminating in an incident from her childhood when she caught Sirzechs walking around in his birthday suit, and his only reaction was to greet her politely and pat her head.
  • The following line displays Shirou's ignorance of chess:
Shirou: The horsey is the one that goes two step forwards and one to the side, right?
  • The method by which Serafall persuaded Shirou to enroll at Kuoh Academy: she kept repeating, "If only there was someone who would help my dear So-tan train, I wouldn't be so worried," while he was within earshot, culminating in her standing next to his bed, muttering the phrase over and over while giving him a Kubrick Stare.
  • Sona's opinion of Shirou being Serafall's Queen:
Sona: I can see why my sister chose you. A better match in hell has never been made before.
    Shirou: Don't you mean heaven?
Sona: I know what I said, Shirou. And trust me when I say there is no way heaven would ever approve of the two of you.
  • The sheer fact that Shirou is known as the "Queen of Swords." May sound badass at first, but since he's a guy, it's a thoroughly Embarrassing Nickname.
  • At the end of the chapter, after Shirou leaves, Sona realizes that he tricked her into letting him leave without playing chess with her first, much to her fury.

     The White Cat
  • Koneko can't stop staring at Shirou's bento box, so he moves it around with his hands, with her eyes following its movement flawlessly.
  • Shirou tempts fate by handing his lunch over to Koneko, thinking she'll eat only a portion of it and leave him with a decent amount of leftovers. She proceeds to eat it all.
  • Shirou's first meeting with Rias. When he walks into the ORC clubroom and sees a shower, he loudly accuses Rias of being an exhibitionist, much to her chagrin. When she emerges from the shower and formally introduces herself, he ignores everything she says in favor of staring at her breasts—and then accuses her of padding her chest, which enrages hernote .
  • After Shirou leaves, Rias, shaken by his 'Reasons You Suck' Speech regarding her upcoming recruitment of Issei, asks Akeno if she's a bad person. Akeno thinks it over, and then offers to spank Rias with a wooden paddle as a form of atonement, flustering the Gremory heiress.
  • Shirou comes home to find Asia has raided his wine stash, and is now skunk drunk.

     Can You Feel the Burn?
  • The chapter opens with Asia discovering porn, much to Shirou's horror.
  • Sona's triumphant dance—complete with a pelvic thrust and shouts of "Burn!"—after learning that Issei, who was just recruited into Rias's peerage, was actually a Twice Critical. What makes it better is that Shirou, whose presence in the room had gone unnoticed, is watching the entire thing. When Sona notices him, he gives her a shit-eating grin and sips his tea.
Shirou: Oh, don't mind me. Carry on, this looks important. I'll wait.
    • According to Shirou, Serafall does this, too, though her target is Archangel Gabriel.
  • Shirou goes to collect his lunch from his locker—only to find that Koneko teleported inside the locker and ate it all (even the extra box he prepared specifically for her)!
  • When Saji declares his goal is to get Sona pregnant, Shirou punches him so hard and so quickly it takes his mind a few more seconds to register that he threw the punch.

     Swords and Angels
  • Asia tries her hand at cooking, and proves to be so inept that she leaves the kitchen in utter chaos and causes the microwave to explode.
  • Sona forces Shirou to play chess with her multiple times and wins each round, with her peerage keeping track using a chalkboard.
  • Shirou's realization that he just had a friendly conversation with Kokabiel.
  • After Shirou learns about Gasper's past, he breaks into the little dhampir's room. When the rest of the Occult Research Club notice and rush down to see what happened, they find the two sitting in front of a TV playing Halo, with an uncharacteristically talkative and bloodthirsty Gasper having a clear lead. Their reactions are funny, too: Rias and Kiba stare in disbelief, Akeno laughs her ass off, and Koneko just stares at a plate of homemade snacks sitting on a nearby table. Then Gasper notices them and begs to be allowed to move in with Shirou, while also having his player character teabag Shirou's.

     Why Angels Fall
  • When Gasper shows him the paper bag mask that Koneko gave him, Shirou—at the prodding of an imaginary mini-Serafall on his shoulder—gives him a Batman costume to wear instead. To breakfast.
  • Shirou tries to destroy a fake Excalibur brought in by the Church. Sona's response sells it.
Sona: Shirou! Shirou, would you please not destroy the very valuable and very important sword that our guests from the Church are willing to kill over?
  • The Church assumes that Shirou's nickname is the "Lord of Swords", which he actually likes. Then Saji corrects them, much to Shirou's fury.
  • Griselda assumes that Shirou had sex with Serafall. Cue Spit Take from a thoroughly startled and embarrassed Sona.
  • Asia, once again completely drunk, having a friendly conversation with Kokabiel.

     All Know Its Name
  • In an otherwise incredibly serious chapter, internal monologuing reveals that, when Shirou showed his Reality Marble to Serafall, she summoned a bunch of pink ribbons and tied them to each weapon.

     Watch Them Grow
  • Xenovia, after witnessing Shirou use Excalibur in the previous chapter, comes to the conclusion that Shirou is King Arthur and swears allegiance to him. His attempts to deter her—such as claiming that if he was King Arthur, he would possess Caliburn—fail, because he mindlessly admits that he does possess it when asked.
    • The image of Xenovia being made Shirou's Knight... while her face is covered in maple syrup.
  • He then gets a quartet of Fallen ninjas, calling themselves "Nin-nin", as his Pawns.
  • Gasper in a Batgirl costume. That is all.

This is Serafall - Part 1
  • The chapter opens with Shirou, Asia, and Xenovia trying to get familiars. Asia gets a giant, venomous, malicious nine-headed Hydra, whom she names Miss Peanut Wigglebutt. Shirou is horrified by the name, but thanks to Serafall's influence, he impulsively agrees to not only let her keep the creature, but retain the name as well. Xenovia gets a Pegasus, which seems more sensible... until she goes into total "speed demon" mode and rides off on it, laughing insanely.
  • Shirou's training of Sona and Kiba. Sona assumes that he's making it hard for her because she kept beating him at chess and rubbing it in his face; while Koneko, who's perched on Shirou's shoulders to serve as a handicap for Kiba, keeps laughing at the Knight's futile efforts to land a hit in.
  • Kiba tries to imitate Shirou's Aria, and gets a vicious kick to the face for his troubles. Even Koneko, in between bouts of hysterical laughter, calls this the most stupidly hilarious thing she's ever seen.
  • Sometime after the fight with Kokabiel, Saji barges into Shirou's homeroom during a class, gives a tearful cry of "ANIKI!", and throws his arms around a startled Shirou. The other students take this the wrong way and assume they're a gay couple.
  • Kiba revealing his intent to hang out with the Perverted Trio in order to learn more about talking to girls. Koneko calls him stupid, Sona rolls her eyes, and Shirou... tells him to ignore the previous two and go for it, despite wanting nothing more than to slap him upside the head to knock the stupidity out of him. Kiba believes him and walks off, to which Shirou remarks:
Shirou: And there goes the greatest idiot I have ever known.
    • When Sona asks Shirou why he did that, Shirou admits he did it because he thought it would be funny to see how everyone reacts, though he also admits that it might actually be good for Kiba.
  • Shirou carrying an exhausted Sona back to the academy like a little kid, with Sona stoically declaring her undying contempt for him all the way.
  • Sona and Rias come up with a convoluted plan to keep Serafall and Sirzechs from attending Family Day, which an uninformed Shirou proceeds to utterly wreck with nothing more than a phone call.
  • Shirou's brutal threat against Sirzechs, as well as the latter's casual reaction to it.
  • The chapter ends on this image: Magical Girl Illya.

This is Serafall - Part 2
  • Picking up where the previous image left off, Shirou angrily berates an unrepentant Serafall for corrupting his sister.
  • Issei loudly refuses to auction off a bunch of dirty pictures he took while his parents watch in dismay. His mother bemoans that he'll never get married as a result, and then looks at her husband before deciding that there must be at least one girl stupid enough to be willing to marry her son and goes off to look for one.
  • Gasper once again plays dress-up, this time wearing a Spartan-II MJOLNIR set of armor. Which he painted pink. Because it's cute!
  • Illya revealing that Serafall copyrighted Shirou's soul after he sold it to her and turned it into a successful media franchise, complete with a TV show and t-shirts.
  • Serafall melodramatically confesses to Shirou that she is in love with him, but not before trolling him twice by bitching at him for being too tall and forcing him to sit down, then joking that he's not as handsome as she thought when she looks at him up close.

    Here be Dragon
  • Akeno pours Shirou a cup of tea, but every time he reaches for it, she keeps pulling it back. He keeps asking her why she's doing that, but she acts like she's done nothing wrong. The cycle repeats itself until Shirou is downright chasing her around the table, asking her why she's doing this.
  • In a bit of Comedic Sociopathy, Akeno displays her sadistic side by describing how Koneko was so terrified of Karasuba that she hid in a tree—and that Akeno got her down by falsely claiming that Karasuba was nearby until the poor girl fainted and fell out of the tree. Everyone else just glares at her.
  • When it's discovered that Karasuba has some kind of attraction to Shirou, the Occult Research Club and Student Council shamelessly leave him to deal with her by himself.

    We're All Going to Hell
  • The sheer fact that everyone has to take a train to get to hell leaves Xenovia speechless.
  • Illya invoking Not Big Enough for the Two of Us against Koneko, which leads to a fight that leaves Shirou's house in shambles.
  • Illya mumbling "Berserker, kill the kitty," in her sleep
  • Serafall and Illya chase Shirou's Pawns around the train with Ninja Turtle headbands and forcing the quartet to wear them. Shirou sympathizes, but does nothing at first because he knows that Serafall will force him into a magical girl costume if he intervenes, and he notes that the headbands allow him to distinguish each member of the group from one another.
  • Shirou internally describes Stheno Sitri, Sona and Serafall's father, as a "stumpy, grumpy Santa Claus." He even wears suspenders, for Christmas's sake! Shirou feels the urge to sit in Stheno's lap and ask for presents, and Serafall, who is aware of this, keeps daring him to do it.
    • To make matters worse, Stheno's wife, Liliana, is aware of Shirou's opinion of her husband too, and also finds it amusing.
  • The tense atmosphere of meeting Sona and Serafall's parents is damaged when Serafall petulantly calls her mother "Mama" and hugs her, refusing to let go until an exasperated Liliana reciprocates.
  • In a flashback, we meet Evelyn, the girl who inspired Serafall to act the way she does. In their first meeting with one another, Evelyn mistakes Serafall for a boy until she touches her chest, with Serafall being thoroughly indifferent to this breech of personal space.

    Yell Out Your Dreams
  • The opening consists of a flashback that sheds light on where Serafall got her habit of chasing her sister from.
  • After Serafall wakes up from said flashback, she asks Shirou if he wants to touch her breasts. He stares at her for a few seconds, then karate chops her on the head.
  • Sirzechs apparently heard this, as he takes the opportunity to grope his wife's cleavage. She responds by stretching his cheeks.
  • Councilman Mictlan tried to get Serafall to dump her magical girl routine, and she ended up converting him instead.
  • After Riser Phoenix loudly declares that his life's goal is to surround himself with a massive harem of beautiful women, and that he hates being engaged to Rias and has no intention of being faithful to her, an angry Serafall viciously tells Shirou that she doesn't approve of harems—unless it consists of Shirou, herself, and Sona.

    Can Immortals Bleed?
  • Shirou takes a page from Serafall's book and calls Sona "So-tan". He even ruffles her hair to twist the knife in further.

    The Power of a Fist
  • Serafall introduces Shirou to online chatrooms, with the latest one being about his fight from the previous chapter.

Blame Your God - Part 2
  • The sheer image of sadistic Blood Knight Karasuba being so submissive to her mother.
  • Aiko (aforementioned mom) reveals that she wanted Karasuba to study ballet instead of kendo. The image of Karasuba in a leotard and tutu is so mind-numbing that Shirou seriously considers going home for a few rounds of binge-drinking with Asia.
  • Upon noticing that her daughter isn't wearing shoes, Aiko asks Karasuba if she is being bullied. Aiko melodramatically assumes that she is, despite Karasuba's embarrassed denials. She then turns to Shirou and orders him to tell her if someone tries to bully Karasuba again. Shirou agrees, while internally noting that he'll do it while in the process of running away from whomever would be scary enough to be able to do that.

    The Destined Fight
  • Karasuba turns out to have a fondness for cats, much to Koneko's distress.
  • After bitching at Shirou for making Karasuba his Queen, Sona comes to the conclusion that she must have been high when she tasked Shirou with handling Karasuba—and decides she wants more of whatever drug she had been taking.
  • Rias refusing to help Koneko escape from Karasuba's grasp, with the terrified nekomata giving her an "Are you completely shitting me right now?" look.
  • Karasuba tearing Issei a verbal new one for getting their parents involved in underworld matters.
  • Illya bonding with Karasuba over their shared love of violence—specifically, Illya revealing that she used to hate Shirou and had planned on torturing him to death until she realized how nice he was.
  • Everyone realizing that, compared to everyone else who has a sibling, Rias has nothing to complain about regarding Sirzechs.
  • Illya revealing that Lord and Lady Sitri give her an allowance (enough to buy a car!)—and that it's larger than Sona's. Sona's reaction is priceless, too.
  • After everyone leaves, Rias realizes that Akeno orgasmed due to Karasuba's bloodlust and sadism.
  • Sona viciously threatens to take Shirou down with her if she ends up going insane and becomes a magical girl cosplayer like Serafall.

    I Was Done Waiting
  • Riser's Pawns, nekomata twins Ni and Li, have a strange reaction to Shirou: they keep sniffing him, then they start whispering and giggling amongst themselves. Shirou, Riser, and the rest of the latter's peerage are utterly baffled by this.
  • Shirou, Serafall, and Ajuka have a meeting in which they discuss Sirzechs' plan to kill Riser on Rias's behalf. This in itself should be serious, but the following factors make it hilarious:
    • The meeting takes place in a janitor's closet.
    • Serafall and Ajuka are wearing Groucho Marx glasses, with the mustache from the latter's pair wiggling every time he speaks!
    • Serafall refers to Riser as "chicken boy."
    • In order to blackmail Shirou into protecting Riser, Serafall draws a picture of Shirou, Archer, and Kiritsugu dressed as magical girls, snaps a photo of it, and sends it to Illya, who promptly sends it to Shirou.
    • As Shirou leaves the meeting, Serafall jokes that he's "coming out of the closet."
