Fridge Brilliance
- The sound of the rapture turning out to be some neighboring college students playing trumpet blasts from an iPod through giant speakers It's a literal Deus ex Machina: "god (or the perception thereof) from the machine".
- While it's intended to just be a throwaway joke, the writer/director's cameo as Cooper's neighboring jailmate telling him to "shut the fuck up" is basically the movie in a nutshell: Kevin Smith telling religious fundamentalists to shut up.
