Fridge Brilliance

  • The reason a small police force is entrusted with taking care of an entire drug corporation is that their mayor wants to give her poorly reputed town a good name by having her administration solve a case that's much bigger than them.
  • Randall never fires Gina or does anything about her sexually harassing Dusty because she's his only cop who's actually good at her job. No way he'd fire her just because she's making one of his expendable cops feel uncomfortable.
    • Also, up until "Tucker Carlson is a Huge Dick", Gina's femininity makes her his cheapest employee. So, as the police station's best performing and least costly employee, she's pretty much invincible to being rightfully canceled.
  • If Fitz was faking his coma, how did he manage to stay perfectly still and unresponsive, while he was being physically harmed, in situations like getting stabbed in the eyes by a key or force-fed a bunch of thumbtacks? This is likely because Fitz is a Buddhist, who exercised enough spiritual meditation to learn how to detach himself from his physical body and have no sensation of physical pain. note
  • Thester's stupidity and incompetence as Fitz's sidekick may be completely phony. As we've seen in the Season 2 finale, Thester is actually a psychologist, who's trying to break Fitz free from his villainous persona, while pretending to be his henchman to get to know him better. His constant screw-ups are likely intentional, as he's trying to subtly hold up his evil plans so that he can stop him before he causes any major harm.
  • Why Dusty became a Jerkass in season 2. He has been The Chew Toy since the start but when season 2 began he has lost his cats after he was forced to kill Santa after discovering he was a criminal, that was the last straw, Dusty couldn't handle it anymore.

Fridge Horror

  • Mavis saw that her sister, Anita, was abusing Woody and took the latter under her wing, while she sent the former to rehab. However, when Woody "started abusing" Randall, Mavis protected her own son by sending Woody back to live with Anita, despite knowing she was an abusive alcoholic mother. Why didn't she just call child services to have Woody sent to a better home? Unless she was so mad at Woody for beating up her son that one time, that she wanted to spite him by forcing him to live the rest of his childhood in an abusive home. The fact that Woody spent the rest of his life in this house and was never rescued, even until adulthood proves that Mavis knew about his situation for all of those years and that whole time, did absolutely nothing to save him.
  • In "Fetal Attraction" Agent Clappers came home to his family. However, his shrunken testicles drove the family to madness, making his wife break down crying, his kids lose their minds and the dog to kill himself. Notably present at this gathering was a baby daughter. In "PARAD-ISIS", Clappers came back with reformed testicles and brought the family back together again, including the resurrection of the dog. However, the baby was not seen at any point in this episode. Could it be that Clappers' initial loss of balls was so bad that the baby died or disappeared in some other way and never came back even after his nads were restored?

Fridge Logic

  • How does the dolphin queen have Edna Dorsaldigits as a child? She's an old lady, which means the dolphin queen should be long dead by now.
    • Actually, the dolphin queen is implied to be a bottlenose dolphin. The lifespan of a female bottlenose dolphin can go up to 60-66 years. The bottlenose dolphin also reaches the age of fertility as early as 5 years. It's possible the dolphin queen got pregnant with Edna when she was 5 and now Edna is currently in her 50's, putting DQ in either her mid-to-late 50's or early 60's.
    • Either that or DQ wasn't the first dolphin that people did "stuff" with. Or, Edna might not really be that old.
  • Agent Dunfore announced he'd be retiring from the FBI after working there for 50 years, which would make him 66 years (and two months) old. So, apparently, Dunfore had been working for the FBI ever since he was 16?
    • Or maybe Agent Dunfore was much older than 66 (let's say he was 76 and started working at the FBI when he was 26, for example) and always had the option to retire for years and just hadn't chosen to take it until now.
  • Another plot hole related to Agent Dunfore is that in broad daylight, supposedly mid-noon, he announced he was only 14 hours away from retirement. During this episode, an entire night passed, and he was even shown at midnight, saying he was 4 hours and 23 minutes from retirement. He was shown again the following day, mere minutes from retirement, again, when the sun was high in the sky. Why did it take 2 full days for 14 hours to pass?
  • Why didn't Anton vote for Karen in the 2020 election? He was her pollster, so it's obvious he supported her. He explained that all of her other supporters didn't vote for her because they were all too high to go to the polls. Anton wasn't high, though. He was right there at the time of the voting and clearly sober enough to tell Karen about others being high, so why didn't he cast his vote? He could have tied the unanimous election of just Kevin voting for Fitz and changed things up a bit!
  • Also, why didn't the non-flipper people members of The Legion of Dooooom vote for Fitz? (i.e. Thester, Clappers, Pedro, Puffy, etc.) They could've helped him win by an even bigger landslide and really rub it in Karen's face.
    • They were also too busy getting high to participate in the election? I mean, they work with houndstooth meth and Thester was shown doing said drug back in "Big Ball Energy", so it's not unlikely.
  • Fitz married the Dolphin Queen while under the persona of the kingpin and after he returned to his normal personality, he had no recollection of what happened. It wasn't until after his recovery and a three-month-long hideout in the sewers that he discovered he married a dolphin when he woke up next to her in bed. Seeing how the dolphin queen was down in the sewers with him the whole time, (in the flashback of her cheating on him with Bullet), how is it that after three months of being in an enclosed sewer with her among only a small society of other people, Fitz was just now figuring out he was married to her once they got out?
    • Fitz drank a lot of Fuck It 'N' Forget down there and must have had a jug shortly before leaving the sewer. By the time he finally woke up the day after, he was off that stuff for good.
  • Dolphin pregnancies last for an entire year and Bullet knocked up the dolphin queen, during their three-month hideout in the sewers. Yet, mere days after they got out, the dolphin queen had already given birth to their baby.
    • Junior is a preterm baby?
    • Maybe not since dogs do have shorter pregnancies (2 months?) than dolphins, so how long DQ's pregnancies are might depend on the other half of her calf's parentage.
  • In "Blind Drunk", Randall enforced prohibition onto Paradise, forbidding anyone from drinking alcohol. Karen resorted to the black market and bought some illegal moonshine from Robby and Delbert, so she could hide out from the law. But wait. Isn't Karen the mayor? Why didn't she just use her mayoral powers to revoke prohibition and avoid the whole situation?
