• Fridge Horror:
  • It's mentioned that when Brimir ripped out a Honedge's soul to save Derflinger, Arceus and all of the Legendaries retaliated. At the time, the Legendaries included Lugia (who spends its time at the bottom of the ocean), Rayquaza (who spends its time parked in the upper atmosphere unless Groudon or Kyogre cause mischief), Cresslia (who gives everyone good dreams), Kyurem (who wants to remerge with Reshiram or Zekrom but seems content to keep to itself otherwise), Xerneas (the bringer of life), Zygarde (who doesn't take action until the environment is threatened) and the Tapus (who are fickle but still good). Imagining the 41 Legendaries (discounting the Light Trio as well as Mewtwo, Type: Null, and Sivally who didn't exist at the time) going on a massive rampage in the Holy Land including the nice ones is just...brrr...
  • Likewise, it's a good thing that Mewtwo and the Legendaries introduced starting in Generation VII such as the Light Trio, Zacian and Zamazenta, the Ridons and Ogerpon weren't around back then either because then, things would have gotten really bad for Brimir and the inhabitants of the Holy Land.
