The lights humming in the episode The Backrooms: Found Footage doesn't always play consistently on every area, which might seem like an editing blooper. However, it makes more sense if the humming is meant be a soundtrack to represent the intended mood rather than just background ambience; the part at the end where the soundtrack goes dead silent makes much more sense then!
Motion Detected is set a few days after Tench vanishes in Informational Video. It's pretty clear with that in mind that the reason the cameras and microphones were set up was to detect if Tench returned to the area around the Threshold.
