I had read this Irregular Webcomic strip months ago, and had come across the Beatles mention of Paul's "death" a few weeks ago on this site. But it was not until my haircut that I put 2 and 2 together. It was all I could do to keep from laughing (If I had burst out laughing, I would have messed up my haircut) —Squark Iota
Also, in this strip: how do Deaths become Deaths? By being the first person to die in a given way, right? Meaning that somebody has already tried it. No wonder the Head Death is so nonchalant about the whole thing - he's done this before! —75984_62153
New Deaths are (normally) recruited from the first person to be killed by something not already covered. One of the deaths is Death of Being Wrestled to Death by Steve. Since he is a human skeleton this would suggest that Steve wrestled a human to death at some point.
Not neccissarily; recall that Deaths can be demoted/promoted as Head Death sees fit. In that light it's plausible that the original Do B Wt Db S was a crocodile or other such Australian fauna and at the rate Steve wrestles things to death the original probably pulled in so many souls it got fast tracked for promotion and by now is probably Deputy Head Death (hey if the Head of the Paradox Department can be a frog then a croc can be Head Death's deputy) and some other Death got promoted to fill his place (judging from his garb he was probably Death by Australia or the like).
