Fridge Brilliance

  • Ezekiel is portrayed here as a religious homeschooled boy. Which is one of the many books of The Bible? The Book of Ezekiel.
  • One can argue that, even if he chose to execute LeShawna out of disgust for her act of betraying Beth, Chef still helped, like LeShawna would say, a "sister" out. By granting the ghetto girl a quick death (being shot in the head), Chef spared LeShawna from the slow and painful death Beth later received at Zolkoff's hands (getting her throat slit).
  • Before dying at Zolkoff's hands, Beth prays in the confessional for Noah to help a teammate out. The thing is that, at the end, Noah does help one of his teammates out just like she expected, but it turns out to be Justin instead of her.

Fridge Horror

  • During their last meeting through a screen call, Trent's father assures his son that he is the best thing that has ever happened to him and that he doesn't know what he would do if something happened to him, as his wife left him. Four challenges later, Trent is killed thanks to Alejandro's sabotage. Without his son and wife, what if Trent's father resorted to the worst outcome when he found himself unable to live with his son's death? It becomes much worse given that Trent mentions having three sisters. Is Trent's father going to keep himself alive for the sake of his daughters or he will leave them alone?
  • In canon, it's established that Heather's parents hate her and want her gone from their lives, judging from how they celebrate that she isn't at home and how they sell her things during her stay at Camp Wawanakwa. So what if, unlike the parents of the other contestants, they surrendered her to Chris and his men with little trouble? Following her death, Heather's parents may be even happy that she is finally gone?!
    • Similarly, Noah's parents prioritizing his siblings "not worrying" over telling them about Noah being sent off to what could very well have been his death. With how Noah's implied to be The Unfavorite of his family, it's not hard to imagine that his parents would have, at least at first, been fine with him dying so long as the rest of their kids are still alive. Though they at least have the decency to feel bad about it when Noah reacts accordingly.
  • In the "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue, it's mentioned that Justin never had children despite getting married. Due to the horrors he experienced at Camp Wawanakwa, perhaps he doesn't want to father children, fearing they could get killed like his teammates? This may also apply to Noah, who, during the epilogue, has yet to be married.
