Fridge Brilliance
- Before Matthew adopts a name for his female form, he is referred to, even in narration, by male pronouns exclusively. It is only after naming his female form Matty Hayes, thus giving her an identity of her own, that the female Matt starts being referred to with female pronouns.
- A later story has a flashback to when the boys are still in China, which would have been prior to the naming of Matty Hayes, yet female pronouns are used. Word of God Lampshaded this, saying it was to avoid confusing the readers.

- In the climatic story in the Kenny's Laboratory spin-off, when Proctor stands up to Justy over their orders to obliterate Western Massachusetts, Justy's response (after some pressure from those around him) is to kill Proctor. Yes, this is an Alternate Timeline that has been negated, but the character who in the main series was always portrayed as a comedic villan has just been shown capable of cold blooded murder. True, he did afterword seem shocked by what he had done, so there is the potential he would have learned from his actions, but as stated this timeline was negated... so does that mean that the Justy in the main series could potentially be capable of such actions, and it is only a matter of time before someone pushes him over the edge?
