16-year-old Daniel (
Timothée Chalamet) struggles with the sudden death of his father, as a result, his mother sends him to Cape Cod to spend his summer with his aunt Barbara. While in Cape Cod he sells drugs and makes friends with the town delinquent Hunter Strawberry and falls in love with Hunter's sister
McKayla, much to the dismay of not only Hunter but
McKayla's ex-boyfriend and his goons while falling in love with the daughter of the police sheriff. Soon the drug business becomes overwhelming for Daniel and Hunter
with deadly consequences.
