  • It's a extremely popular belief that Twilight helped Wild on his journey during the events of BOTW as the wolf amiibo. It's up in the air whether Twilight has already experienced this or if he'll do it in the future, and which of the two remembers tends to vary depending on who you ask thanks to time travel and alternative dimensions shenanigans. Of course, their close relationship in the webcomics certainly doesn't hurt either. In spite of this, it's never brought up in canon.
    • Confirmed to be the case on Wild's end as of Sunset pt. 10. Wild remembers, though Twilight's wolf form appears visibly aged, implying present-day Twilight has not gone through this yet.
    • It's also a semi-popular belief (though not nearly as popular as the above) that Wild is in fact Twilight's direct descendant, just like Twi is Time's direct descendant (which by proxy makes Wild a direct descendant of Time). This belief seems to have risen from Twi helping Wild out on his quest like Time helped Twi on his, with fans drawing a parallel. Once again, their close connection in the webcomic proper doesn't hurt.
  • Since we haven't seen how the Link's first met, fans usually assume Warriors was the first to be summoned and sent to gather the rest of the Link's due to rather obvious reasons.
  • Its usually thought when Wind gets livid mad, he swears like a sailor all thanks to his time spent as a pirate before.
  • Its fairly popular to see Four's hometown treat him like a social pariah after his adventures ends and he became one person again. This is because of how he acts when he comes back that make him seem like a mentally unstable individual who they only barely tolerate because of his blacksmithing skills and him saving their world.
  • Sky is often believed to have asthma or general trouble breathing because the air is thicker on the surface than on Skyloft and he has such bad stamina in-game.
  • Technically, the "Hero of" nicknames are fanon, at least to the extent of being used in-universe. Jojo mostly writes the dialogue around the need for the Links to address each other by any particular monikers, but when it does come up, they tend to use nicknames based on roles or skills rather than heroic titles (ex: Warriors being called "Captain" due to his rank, or Time being called "Old Man" due to being the oldest Link). The only exception is Sky, who is called Sky in the comic proper and could realistically be nicknamed Sky based on coming from a sky island rather than due to detailed information about his journey.
  • That Hyrule is the team medic, due to the healing magic he acquires in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
  • It is almost always assumed that Hylia is the one creating the portals, even though they're made by Dark Link (or Dink as he's called).
  • Though this piece of fanon has been around since A Link to the Past first released decades before the webcomic, it's generally assumed that Legend and his Zelda are siblings.
  • It's generally believed that a Young Time was there for Warriors' adventure, along with Marin, Ravio, Midna, and all the other DLC characters.
    • Relatedly; fanworks that involve a younger Time give him the nickname Mask to distinguish him from his older counterpart.
  • Fanworks tend to give the various Zeldas distinguishing nicknames just like the Links. Aside from Tetra, the Zeldas are never given nicknames by either the games or the webcomic (not counting Sheik, which wouldn't help since two of the Zeldas have used the alias—three counting Super Smash Bros.).
    • Sky's Zelda is typically nicknamed Sun since the sun is, well, in the sky.
    • Four's Zelda is typically nicknamed Dot.
    • Time's Zelda is typically nicknamed Lullaby, a reference to Zelda's Lullaby.
    • Legend's Zelda is typically nicknamed Fable, since fable and legend are synonyms.
    • There are two Zeldas in Hyrule's time. The Zelda kidnapped by Ganon is typically nicknamed Dawn. The Zelda trapped in a Deep Sleep (Zelda I) is typically nicknamed Aurora as a reference to Sleeping Beauty.
    • Twilight's Zelda is typically nicknamed Dusk, since both dusk and twilight are terms used to refer to sunset.
    • Warriors's Zelda is typically nicknamed Artemis, since she has an affinity for bows just like her namesake.
    • Wild's Zelda is typically nicknamed Flora, since she has a Flower Motif in-universe.
