These are recommendations made by tropers for The Musketeers fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. After a few samples, you will be able to note the interests of the tropers recommending them, and judge whether you might be also interested in a certain 'fic.
Feel free to add a fanfic of your own to the list, but remember to use the template found herenote . Do warn when a fanfic may head into sexualnote or non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is Serious Business.
Reviews of fics are encouraged, but if you choose to write one, please make it substantive, and give specific details about what you liked / disliked in the fic. If you want to give a fic a thumbs-up without writing a full review, you can add your troper handle to the Recommendations Line. - Synopsis: A series set in a world where some people have X-Men like powers, known as Abilities. The Church hates them and hunts them down, especially in d'Artagnan's native Gascony. Treville quietly recruits them for the Musketeers; Louis is officially unaware. The series includes A Us and side stories as well as the main stories, rewrites of Seasons 1, 2 and 3.

- Synopsis: A set of stories based around the idea that Louis and d'Artagnan were not rescued so swiftly in 2.02. The first story has them rescued after a few weeks; the others are all set in a 'verse where d'Artagnan traded his willing service for Louis' freedom and spent several years in Spain. The first story shows his service and rescue and the second his attempts to recover, spread over several years. There is also a short piece by another author set during his recovery, and a crossover with the Powers 'Verse listed above.
