- Synopsis: Before the Space Forces sent Alan Chandrasekhar to study the Ctarl-Ctarl, he lived alongside them, fled from them, and fought against them in the two last Ctarl-Ctarl Wars. The story of an inept military man and the three decades he spent learning about the alien Ctarl-Ctarl (a companion piece to 'Observations on the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire').
- Comments: An excellent exploration of the Outlaw Star universe, told through the eyes of unfortunate everyman Alan Chandrasekhar. Provides context and plot for the dry scholasticism of "Observations".
Observations on the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire

- Synopsis: From the desk of a Space Forces naval officer, a military report hoping to cover the breadth of the vast military and civil society of the Ctarl-Ctarl, dealing with everything from their pre-history to the infamous "Stripper Myth". If you like this but prefer something more like a narrative, check out 'A Terran in the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire' concerning the same officer.
- Comments: An interesting take on the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire, described by a Terran military officer in a scholastic/bureaucratic format.

What will the crew of the Outlaw Star do when the Empire calls back one of its long-absent daughters?
- Comments: Set in the OS universe outlined by Synthesis's previous two stories, Immortal Empire connects the actual crew and main cast of Outlaw Star with the functions of the main setting of Synthesis's works, the interior of the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire. First chapter published on 9/28/2015, so a recent story.

- Synopsis: As the Heiphong Space Race nears, a figure from the past re-emerges to stake her claim on the XGP and a relentless Ctarl Ctarl bounty huntress pursuing her is led to the doorstep of Starwind & Hawking Enterprises.
- Comments: One of the few stories to feature a 'return' of "Hot Ice" Hilda that actually does it well. Set Post-Series, its easily as good as a second season of the show, or at least a three-part OVA. Original characters are wonderfully dynamic and the rest of the group is portrayed well, if not necessarily in the best of light. Sadly, it has lain dormant for a long time, but per the Author its more "comatose" than dead.

- Synopsis: Set in a Wild Western World, up and coming gunslinger Gene Starwind finds himself thrown headfirst into adventure in the search to make a name for himself. With wisecracking partners, beautiful damsels, mystical skinchangers, foreign assassins, and more besides. Pride and greed threaten to tear the frontier apart, and the lines quickly become blurred between doing what is legal, and doing what is right.
- Comments: As one reviewer commented, if you strip away the aspects of space, aliens, magic, and technology, you get this. But the author does a remarkable job of sticking to the heart and soul of the franchise, even if the story goes by at sub-ether speed.
