Proof that the remaining 10% is worth facing off against the forces of Dr. Zin for.

These are recommendations made by tropers for Jonny Quest Fan Fics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. Feel free to add a fanfic of your own to the list, but remember to use the template found here.

Do warn when a fanfic may head into romantic or non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is Serious Business.

You can also add to the current recommendations if you want. You can do it by leaving a review or by adding your name to the recs line. Refrain from posting Conversation in the Main Page though; that goes in the discussion page.

Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

Hordes of the Khan by Scott R. Brooks

  • Recommended by: Mark Lungo
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: A spacecraft flown by a Friendly Rival of Race's crashes in Outer Mongolia, where Dr. Quest just happens to be testing his latest invention. Our heroes must protect the ship and its pilot from both Red Chinese troops and a gang of desert marauders who model themselves on the armies of Genghis Khan.
  • Comments: Scott R. Brooks is a professional illustrator who loves Jonny Quest so much that he wrote and drew two virtual comic books featuring the characters, then released them for free on his website. The format emulates the kind of Comic Book Adaptations that were released while the series was still in production, complete with a fake letters column. Brooks' love for the show and its cast is obvious in every panel, and he recaptures the style of the series very well.

Seekers from the Red Star by Scott R. Brooks

  • Recommended by: Mark Lungo
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: In Scotland, the Quest crew encounters yet another downed spaceship — only this time it's piloted by aliens! The friendly beings kidnap Dr. Quest and a colleague because they need a top-secret device the two scientists are working on to repair their craft — but can they be trusted?
  • Comments: Another "stellar" effort by Brooks. While the Plot Twist isn't that much of a surprise, it's good to see that Dr. Quest had already figured out what was really going on before The Reveal. As with many actual comics of The '60s, this issue includes a short text-only adventure; this story, "The Sunken Treasure", has a desperate modern-day pirate taking the Quests hostage at their own boathouse, and it's definitely worth checking out.

Arctic Aftermath by Trans_Self

  • Recommended by: Cherry Crew Neck
  • Status: Complete
  • Pairing: Race Bannon/Benton Quest
  • Synopsis: Following the events that unfurled in the episode Arctic Splashdown, Race checks on Dr. Quest to make sure he's alright.
  • Comments: A pretty cute, short Race/Benton story.
