"The Fanseries" is a Hetalia: Axis Powers fanfiction written by author BFTLandMWandSEK. The series is a satire view of the fandom and focuses mainly on two Original Characters: Sherry and Larry Sue.

The first installment,"The Fangirl", is about Sherry Sue: a France X England shipper with an irrational hatred for the ever unpopular Seychelles. One day, she wakes up to discover that she is stuck in Seychelles's body until she can get either France or England to fall in love with her (thus ruining her favorite pairing). She is guided along the way by Turkey, AKA: Sadiq Adnan. But he is dealing with a secret of his own— one from a being called "The Voice".

The recently started sequel is entitled "The Fanboy" and takes place three years after the first. This time, it's about Sherry's younger brother Larry: a homophobic, Hetalia-hating writer. When a certain tragedy involving his not-girlfriend leads him to make a contract with a creep named Erwin, he is sent to Piratalia (Hetalia with pirates)and is stuck in Liechtenstein's body. With his mentor Alfred F. Jones, he has to get a guy named Gilbert to drink a vial of something unknown or else his not-girlfriend might die.

The series is often noted for satirizing the Hetalia fandom while having a surprisingly fleshed out plot and characters. Not a single character— OC or canon —is left undeveloped. "The Fanseries" also preaching the values of respect in inner and inter fandom relations. Many of the readers have reported being converted from being a Seychelles hater to respecting her as a character all because of this story. Full of humor, drama, and crack, "The Fanseries" absorbs your attention and leaves you wondering what's going to happen next. This fic can definitely be noted for being an eyeopener to the world of fandoms.
