Ridonculous Race Underdogs is a Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race fanfic written by Animation Adventures. It can be found here.
The fic follows what might happen if the Fashion Bloggers manged to stay in the race instead of the Daters, and the changes that follow soon after.
This work contains examples of:

- Back for the Dead: Mother and Daughter come back after bribing the producers, only to be eliminated during the original double elimination episode.
- Call-Back: Geoff is not fond of Siberia as he's still angry about how Blaineley got his girlfriend Bridgette stuck there.
- Dead Fic: Hasn't been updated since October 5th, 2018.
- Downer Ending: With them being eliminated early, Ryan and Stephanie leave with their relationship on rocky terms as Stephanie is still angry at Ryan and Ryan is still berated by Stephanie.
- For Want Of A Nail: The story begins with Jen realizing their fezzes are slowing them down, so she and Tom ditch them, allowing them to make it to the Chill Zone before the Daters and stay in the race.
- Heroic BSoD: Brody is not happy when the Police Cadets (and by extension, his crush) get eliminated and spends the next episode moping. He gets better after having fun during the dune buggy challenge.
- Oblivious to Love: Devin starts off as this in regards to Carrie's crush on him. Decreases after Carrie confesses her feelings in the 13th episode.
- Rage Breaking Point: After being provoked by Lorenzo, Chet uses his rage to knock the tennis menace off the building.
- Ship Tease: Rock and Jen
- Smarter Than You Look: Spud of all people turns out to be this.Rock: Whenever Spud is supposed to learn something, it might look like he's not learning, but the information is actually sinking into his brain. Whenever we would study the night before a test in school, I would read off my notes to Spud, and he would recite them back perfectly an hour afterwards.
Spud: I passed a lot of tests in school this way. - Take That!: Don makes a passing statement about the original double elimination in the show.
- The Stations of the Canon: Several eliminations happen the same way the did in the original.
- Tongue on the Flagpole: Courtesy of Josee, Spud gets his tongue frozen to a garbage can in cold weather in place of MacArthur.
- Trademark Favorite Food: The Stepbrothers both love pork and beans.
- Wholesome Crossdresser: Tom and Jen decide to do the magic show challenge in Vegas, and after a few fails with the lion, they decide to have Tom be the assistant. Tom doesn't mind it at all since it looked really good:Jen: Despite the lion continuing to hug me, that was a really fun challenge. I love Vegas!Tom: And I love this dress! (pulls out two magician assistant dresses) We finally found clothes that both of us look fabulous in! (hands one dress to Jen)Jen: Too true. Plus, once we hit the Chill Zone, we're so going shopping. (both squeal)
